all one-shots out-side of ults need to be removed. widow and Hanzo need to be reworked completly and sojourn needs to only do 80 damage with her rail gun no head shots out side ult.
i disagree but agree too somewhat since i do like moba aspect games. the ability to overcome a situation with time. fast ttk is most of the time just unavoidable and a quick form of elimination than a tanky like moba game. what is fun is subjective tho since one shots can be avoidable too by being super aware.

not when they they all have mobility and this being an abjective shooter and no way to build around it like you can in a moba
ONE SHOTS are fine when those heros are easy to kill… but is not the case with this healing powercreep and hanzo storm arrows.

you may have your wish someday. in the last dev blog they hinted at looking at one-shots more. who knows they may redesign widow/hanzo to be entirely different. i just hope viable
like i said before i disagree because im somewhat a widow main since having over a thousand hours on her (bias take. its fun hitting long range snipes heh)
i want all heros viable just not broken or annoying in the way that you have no way of fighting it other then play their game of one shots.
widow is the least annoying and infuriating on this list she just has some problems like map design is just trash but hanzo and sojourn tho, I would rather burn my hand on oil then fight them like for real with widow on like 60% of maps i know where she can be i know how to get to her and i have a change on lucio or genji but sojourn no clue she can be anyware at any time same for hanzo or hes just spamming into the crowd and hes only 1 of 2 heros where spam just works
I don’t mind some one shots because some are extremely difficult to get good at and are very vulnerable while doing it. The real one shots I have an issue with are those like Zen discord volley and Kiriko headshot. I’m sorry but they are way too strong and need a nerf or rework. Kiriko can one tap tracer with a headshot. She can already tp and suzu. Why? Tracer is literally a glass cannon who is meant to flank and seek those quick picks. Kiriko in semi capable hands negates this fully. Just one headshot and it’s lights out and if she doesn’t then she just suzu’s and they turn and wipe you out. It’s not good for the game.
Zen is a sitting duck and with great dps, he has no mobility. Man needs more dmg to stay alive. The volley can be pretty BS like being hanzo’d arrow from down the alley. . . .but at least Hanzo has a lunge and wall climb to bail him out, zen can’t.
Kiri’s dmg is terrible unless it’s a headshot with rewards aim and it’s can’t kill you from the first shot unless I guess she does a combo or you were already dying.
play QP so if some nolife widow player is ruining your game you can just leave
Kiri doesn’t have a 1 shot…. I don’t like how spammy she feels to fight sometimes but it’s not like she’s insta killing you.
Zen volley is a move you need to charge for a decent duration which comes at the cost of him not being able to change orb targets. And he’s an immobile frail hero with a huge hit box lmao.
This is honestly the preferred way to be doing burst damage. At best a 2HKO because on the first shot you have time to react or use abilties or have someone else save you.
With 0 time to react everything has to be preemptive which is not as reliable as reactionary.
Yeah I think TTK should never be less than like 0.4 seconds without it either being an ult or having a significant investment
IMO TTK in this game needs to be made longer. Dmg and healing across the board should be lowered. Things die way too fast and get healed to full way too fast.
One shots in and of themselves don’t bother me.
But I’m strongly of the mindset they need to be tethered to abilities with appreciable wind ups, telegraphs, audio and visual cues, and cooldowns with downtimes.
We need to stop crying about skilled one shots. They do NOT need to go. They are fine in the contexts in which they existed. Widow, Roadhog, Zen etc are all fine with it as long as you understand how to avoid them. It’s stupidly easy to do so. The heroes with this capability tend to have super exploitable weaknesses and aren’t very versatile
Zen volly can be annoying but his main problem is discord. Volly is more just a chock spam ability that if i die to once i say darn hes luck and try another path hanzo tho that arrow is bs and i can see 5 coming at once while he has wall hacks
Ya widow just need less mobility upping her cool down on grapple would help but habzo and sojourn need to go ladt year they are the worst to play into and take little skill compared to other one shots. But sorry hogs was a problem did i like hoe they handle his nerf god no it was trash and they need to stop just changing random numbers
Say that to every Tracer that has been one shot by her kunai to the face. Also everyone else it’s a two shot. If you are going to complain about Hanzo and Widow then you need to be fair across the board. She’s similar to them but with way more survivability.
Thats still not a one shot that 120 damage tracer has 150hp
Funny you say that because I have played Tracer and been one shot by her with a headshot at full health. So the numbers don’t add up or your math and reading skills need to be brushed up on.
They can’t potentially cripple characters like that without significant buffs that could make them arguably worse to play against or make choosing them over other choices pointless. What would be the incentive to play Widow over Ashe if Widow couldn’t OHK anymore? I know you said to rework Widow and Hanzo completely, but depending on how much, they may have to nerf/ rework several other characters, and that much work just to appease people who hate being killed in one shot just isn’t worth the time and resources.
