- Ana - Dont fire your sleep dart at anything that is not a special unit or close range enforcer. Enemies can fidgit and stagger when allies hit them. Youāll lose alot of darts shooting at anything not medium range or stationary like a sniper.
- Ashe - Her coach gun is crazy good in PvE, she can boop whole mobs off the map at times easily, especially in Rialto
- Baptiste - Enemies will not focus the drone as long as 1 person is in line of sight. This mean you can drop it in the middle of a big fight and you will live. Just make sure you have an exit strategy if it times out.
- Bastion - Turret mode is death on expert and legendary!! Enforcers dont care about how scary your gun is and will point blank KO you. Your better off in recon using the large ammo clip and self repair.
- Brigitte - honestly sheās pretty awful, last year she was fun but she struggles in PvE, best I can tell you is keep bashing and just time your shield to block enforcers or whip flail em back. She is very helpful with rally vs heavy though.
- D.va - As tempting as the nuke is for mobs you should keep it as an extra life. If you get ejected without nuke handy you could just get insta-dropped before you get safe cause aimbot.
- Doomfist -honestly dont got one, did two runs and Iām just not mechancially good with him at all lol. Sorry DF mains if I let you down here. Ult = Escape not Engage
- Genji - SLOWWWWW DOWWWNNNN. It doesnt matter how MLG Pro you are vs other player, these guys have aimbot, your not gonna juke them. When you dash you should use that last reset to regroup immediately.
- Hanzo - Hanzo has no real tricks that differ from PvP. Scout known enemy hotspots, Ult mobs. Dont forget you can wall climb though if you find yourself in a bad situation.
- Junkrat - Easily the best Heavy Assault Killer in the game because you bounce off walls. If you die as junkrat to a heavy itās 100% your fault. Play corners. Also if you can find a choke point you can bait assassin into traps.
- Lucio - Do not use speed ever unless your in full GTFO retreat. Your just gonna ruin your teammates accuracy doing crossfades. Like genji dont try wall riding unless you need to reach higher ground. THEY WILL SHOOT YOU EASILY.
- Mccree - If your gonna deadeye an assassin make sure you do it when sheās running in a straight line. If you fire at her on a wall she can teleport juke the bulllet or end up behind cover as your firing. Also punch then flash an assassin, youāll get more out if that way unless you cant reach the ally being pinned with a melee in time.
- Mei - Even without a healer Iāve won as mei on expert. She is the ultimate rez hero. Main tip I have is dont freeze anything other then a Heavy or Assassin, your just risking your life going close range. Icicle non-stop.
- Mercy - Save rez for the the ātankā in your group. If a backline hero dies pick em up regularly. If your tank dies say reaper as an example, your gonna need him up immediately cause once your frontliner is gone the rest will follow shortly after if you dont have a bullet sponge for the increasing concentration of fire.
- Moira - Sheās like hanzo thereās no real gimmicky trick using her. Fade to dodge and heal orbs are better then damage. Youāll get Ult way faster and then you can just keep spamming coalescence to attack.
- Orisa - Vs Heavy when he charges: Fortify, DO NOT SHOOT, run away, barrier, then shoot. Even with fortify on he will melt you and if you back up while shooting you wont make enough space for the barrier to be effective and heāll just walk through the next one you panic dropped.
- Pharah - like Genji dont try and fight in the air. Your best bet is to stay grounded even for Ulting bare minimum off ground. Vs heavy never ult until you know for sure heās aiming at someone else AND that person will not be in cover immediately.
- Reaper - Your pretty tanky with lifesteal, you can take anything thats not a enforcer shell to the face. If your team is taking ALOT of fire use the new shadow step to get behind and pull aggro away, you can take it. Just learn your limitation as to how much is actually too much. They wont dodge so put the barrel right up to their heads and get max hp back.
- Reinhardt - Play like PvP, and try to keep your shield at 500 so when you fight an enforcer you can block swing block. Theyāre a little tough for rein to bring down alone. You cant charge a Heavy but you can counter his charge.
- Roadhog - His ult is great for wiping the really big mobs by the edges. when you ult a heavy though try to go from the backside to inflict max damage possible on his huge weakspot.
- Soldier 76 - Ult is actually alot weaker then your primary. You really shouldnt use it at all unless thereās alot of grunts (not enforcers) or an assassin around. A really good tip vs assassin is to drop biotic field right before she pounces to help keep her target alive.
- Sombra - Sheās my favorite to use so Iām gonna go in depth here. You literally cripple assassins but theres a method to it. You need both emp and your hack available. If you just hack her or EMP sheāll be stunned momentarily like a flashbang then reset leaving you little time to attack. If you combine them though the 1st stuns her and the 2nd shuts her suit down entirely like an earth shatter for the entire duration of the hack! You can one clip her easily this way. Invisibility does have a use. If your team wiped drop a translocator by who you want to rez, invis far away then enter line of sight. After they chase you translocate and do the rez. Dont hack a heavy unless heās for sure pinning someone, you actually piss him off and he shoots more rapidly. EMP is viable vs enforcers too particularly that part in Rialto where 6 burst out after the bridge. You can wipe their shields and spray them to prevent them recharging while your team picks em off.
- Symmetra - Create a safe space for your team and make sure they know. Your turrets wont last long if no one else is aggroing the enemy. Best to use defensively.
- Torbjorn - Find an elevated spot with a long single path. Use molten core to thin out the number when they get grouped up on the stairs. Itās really easy to wipe mobs as torb this way.
- Tracer - dont get fancy, aimbot. You should be pulling aggro away and looking for strays, your too low hp to go into mobs without focused healing. She is very good at killing troopers with one clipping though. Try and focus small fry and group up vs specials, dont try to solo.
- Widowmaker - Aim for the head lol and try not to waste your ult lol. Not much widow can do but use her sniper which is REALLY GOOD vs specials. Assert dominance vs snipers.
- Winston - I have a rough time with him. Honestly I need tips on this one.
- Wrecking Ball - Holy hell, I dont know ifās bugged or what but his primary fire is like magnetic to bots and MELTS them. It seems way way WAY above average for PvE dishing out damage. Dont even go in ball form act like one of those roly poly droids from starwars and vaporize them. You can set up trap with mines, easily live situations with his shieldā¦ like heās stupidly broken OP in PvE.
- Zarya - It can be really hard to keep charge with her with all the walking and pauses. Even if your at low charge keep in mind you can go for the boops. In fact grenade launcher is alot better then particle beam IMO.
- Zenyatta - Hopefully your not the only healer lol. Not gonna lie itās hard to play zen in PvE but also very rewarding feeling. Good tip to kill enforcers is discord and just charge a full volley behind a corner and peek them. If itās not an assassin your in good shape. One tip for assassins though I dont recommend you waste ult this way but it is a viable option in situations is to trance while someone is pounced and let the other two focus fire. However if one person knocks em off with a punch or ability your gonna waste your ult for nothing. Everyone has to be on the same page.
