One negative feedback i can already give

how is this relevant to the thread? the idea of score board is great and it’s definitely an improvement, just not during the match. It’s fine after match has ended as it was with medals.

It doesn’t have to, but that’s not up to Bl8zza4d, that’s up to us

People are stupid

Don’t forget to spam “Scoreboard!” while you play!

Same….there are other reasons why I think it’s bad….but IF they’re going to do it anyway…I think it should at least be AFTER the match

How many people enjoy constant confrontation and accusations for what is supposed to be an enjoyable hobby?

I’ll take some more raw info over feelings getting hurt any day.

You ok or something? You shouldn’t be tossing insults like that.

It’s called being toxic, anybody can and will do it

yea i noticed this while watching kephrii. its an ingame scoreboard so i can already see millions of armchair quarterbacks always tabbing to the scoreboard and quarterbacking you to switch to whatever because of stats

also i see a lot of throwing with the ingame scoreboard. people paying attention to it more than the actual game or objective

I’m fine, I assure you

The people getting worked up over toxicity in Overwatch because of a scoreboard are the ones that need to take a step back. More information is not a bad thing and will not increase the amount of toxicity because Overwatch has already been at max capacity forever.

This isn’t exclusive to OW. Any environment that you are interacting and among other people/players you will have this behavior. Its a human thing more than an OW thing.

If people dont enjoy any type of confrontation , even if its not too aggressive , then they shouldn’t put themselves in situations where they interact with strangers. I guess just never leave the house and never play multiplayer games. Not everything is a safe, non threatening, cushioned walled environment. Except maybe games that are catered for strictly children. Like Club Penguin, Roblox maybe.

Well, from what I can see, board shows the following stats for both teams:

Elims
Assists
Deaths
Damage
Healing

Useful if you’re a damage or bruiser, I suppose. Wouldn’t mind a healing received stat being added. Might be additional data useful for supports.

Edit: wouldn’t mind objective time either.

Not necessarily. Toxicity was actually lowered when private profiles were introduced to keep nefarious peeping toms from looking at our profiles then having them blow up on us because “HURR DURR Y U THIS MAIN UR BAD”.

Keep in mind that more information spread to random internet strangers is often a bad thing. And the scoreboard won’t help.

Remember the days when you have a typical 16 year old playing Call of Duty and he would call you out for having a negative K/D ratio? Yeah… good days. They still exist btw.

Better than medals which don’t mean anything.

As if that doesn’t still happen with the medal system

Did you ever stop to consider that it’s possible more people want the scoreboard than don’t?

Private profiles are a sure sign of either a smurf or hacker.

See that’s a different discussion (the what’s on it discussion) but that plays into it as well…

It’s essentially what we have on cards now which I think MOST people would say don’t really say much….OW is a much more complex game than how much dmg/healing you did…

so it’s just ammunition for people that want to pin blame on others….and as we all know….people WANT to blame teammates

Not one shred of evidence is provided.

You mean script kiddie? They are easily found.

I hardly see any chatter regarding the medal system because you can only look at your own.

And if they don’t mean anything, why bother with it?
