Sure, they’re fun to pull off as the shooter, but from everyone else’s perspective they don’t make the game fun or enjoyable.
Such a kill should be pulled off by skill, not an offhand arrow or spam barrage meant for you buddy, or a buffed sniper body shot, or a two tap grenade/mine. Things like that just take away the fun by adding easy peazy lemon squeezy mechanics that are designed for instant gratification much like every Call of Duty game in the last 10 years has implemented. It works great in CoD, just please keep it there.
Instagib ults are fine though, as they should be. But even then, I also think ults need to be scaled back in time a bit. Make it harder to attain them.
Overwatch actually had some level higher level of strategy and coordination involved, and still does to a point, but it’s now dominated by enough spammy tactics and cheesy plays that you’d think you’re looking at a charcuterie board at a wine tasting party. It’s time to dial back the damage and one hit KO’s a bit. If a hero can score a kill within seconds of pressing LMB or combo’d with a secondary ability, it needs to be nerfed. I’m looking at you Hanzo/Widow/McCree/Roadhog/Doomfist/Brigitte/Ana/Junkrat.
Damage needs to be scaled back considerably at this point, the game is becoming frustrating with all these instant KO’s.

If damage was scaled back this game will just turn into a overheal and front line ult economy game, which it already is leaning towards this in casual comp at least.
Yes, and snipers at this point in CoD are nearly all one hit body shots, fun yes,
but cheesier than the Taco Bell menu.
I’m not talking about snipers, I’m talking about any hero that can score a kill in seconds. That mechanic needs to get hit with the nerf gun yesterday.
All of these guys have TtK that falls under “a few second”, or have combos that serve the same purpose.

You gotta get you a tank main to queue with. Helps a lot to play in/around your team’s zone of control.
All the heroes you listed have stuns or CC. Is that what you’re talking about? I’m not sure if I’m following you because some of these heroes do not OSK.
One shot heroes really don’t belong in Overwatch, it makes for boring frustrating gameplay with no ability to react.
And they turned Hanzo into a damage god, who melts all the heroes who can dive. So we get this two ‘sniper’ (with Hanzo being good at every range) garbage meta.
Doomfist, Ana, roadhog and mccree are heroes that can punish an enemy who is overextending or has a bad positioning in general, if they couldn’t have a one shot combo these heroes won’t be played that much and most of the times if you get hooked, stunned or slept it’s your fault and you have to be punished.
I’m ok with the fact that widow is able to one shot you because is pretty hard to hit a full charged headshot as widow.
Hanzo is a problem right now in the game, I’m not talking about how annoying is dragon strike and graviton combo, hanzo is wrong because he is able to one shot many heroes by hitting an headshot which is not that difficult after all, that projectile speed is so wrong, instead of nerfing the storm bow which is fine right now they should focus the changes on the projectile speed.
Last one is Brigitte, which can shut down character like tracer, genji, winston and many others, I’m not talking about “counter picking”, this is a complete shut down, she destroys many heroes and that’s wrong.
