She’s incredibly overpowered. Nearly impossible to kill if she’s played by someone who is even half-decent.

I don’t really agree with you on that. That being said, people should be a bit concerned that Blizzard intends to nerf turrets soon.

Exactly this. I think Torb is currently a good Tracer counter. Once they nerf his turret, I wouldn’t mind seeing a little nerf to her.

When Supports aren’t so overtuned that Tracer has to be in her current state, I wouldn’t mind seeing her damage reverted to what it was at the start of OW2.

Damage from 5.5 to 5, yep.

I also would like them to increase her health from 150 to 175 so she doesn’t get 1-tapped out of nowhere so often. Alongside the damage nerf, I’d probably also make her hit-box like 8% easier to hit so the 175 HP is not too good.

The game is actually balanced around Tracer.

. . . Though, I don’t know if that’s true anymore… based on recent adjustments.

Mmm, maybe. I think we should see how she does with 5 rather than giving her 175 hp with the damage nerf. That could go really badly really fast, because 5 damage is still enough to one clip at Tracers falloff range.

They’re balancing Tracer around Supports, and the rest of the game around Tracer. Which is why she’s causing problems now.

Balancing a game around a singular hero just feels like a bad idea in general.

I would agree, but Tracer is a VERY well designed hero. The game can be balanced around her, but they have got to stop balancing her around other things. That’s why OW1 was way more balanced.

Start of OW2. From the beginning of 1, through the end, she always did 6 per round and pulse bomb did more damage for the first couple of years.

No, nothing that extreme; it did 400 damage initially. Still, it was deemed too strong against tanks and got nerfed a bit before Goats became a thing.
