I lowkey have a conspiracy theory that they are working with netflix or something for an animated series.

They still have a lore team. We know Michael Chu is still active (he answers some add questions here and there on the forums) so we can only assume the story team is still working.

So what are they working on?

I thought the animated shorts would roll out this year at a fast pace, but now we are stuck with nothing.

Iā€™m sure we will get one this month but will it be worth it?

Who knows, lack of lore is astonishing since itā€™s usally the easiest thing to put out because of how many ways you can do it.

Like nobody can defend blizzard for this

I doubt anything with Netflix only because i worked at Netflix and know how they operate deals

My theory is a ā€œbigā€ short film for Blizzcon. Not a full-length ā€œmovieā€ but something more substantial than the 7 min shorts we have been getting. I am learning towards maybe a 20-30 min shortā€¦

Even a comic once a month would be loved at this rate. Just little things to move the story forwards.

Any lore for D.va would be great. She is currently the most shallow character in game with no real story :frowning:

True. The only thing zen has going for him over D.va is that he didnā€™t have some of his lore retconned because reasons lol.
