I think that that is only because the Tankers are all trying out the Tank roster.
I would say give it a few more days and the queue time would be more indicative of how things would actually be.
P.S. Given how negative most of the reviews appear to be about Tanks, i would say that probably little to no tankers would be playing after a day or two.

hopefully you’re joking. this is a team based fps. if people expected a low teamwork game where solo carrying can be done with ease, this isn’t the game for them.

The very core of Overwatch is to play it as a team. If you want to feel good as a solo DPS just play Counter strike or Call of duty

As it is every time they add a new hero. This is something new, so everyone queues as tank.
Except the reason why people are argueing is because it makes the game terrible.
