In the latest cinematic of Freja, she gets a bounty at the very end on a very familiar face on an old overwatch photos from early Overwatch when Ryes was still part of it. I guess a hint on the next hero? Or at the very least an important character for the story.

Feeja finally talk about emre. a webcomic about freja should also come out today, but I can’t tell you if it will be a flashback story, something about the present… or a mix of the two like it happened so far with juno and hazard. but surely using emre at this point in the lore is NOT coincidental, otherwise they could have been talking about any other ex-agent of the old overwatch to be assassinated.
emre could be a teaser for a future hero or a key non-playable character. like when we all thought it was liao but in the end she was just the inventor of echo.
