Oh… oh no… what is this? No way one of the most complained about heros in history started off like this, this is awful.

S3 ow1 is where her reign began, of her being meta for like 6 seasons straight, taking a few off. And then being back for another year or so during goats. But oh boy matrix as a cd was awful.

Honestly I dont think Id even mind current D.va as much if it wasnt for the fact that she can boost, missile, and DM all at the same time. Its genuinely enough damage to completely burst and 100 to 0 anyone but the tank role, while also being completely unable to do anything to protect yourself or be saved, without immortal cooldowns like bubble or lamp, or specific counters to being dove like Reaper or Mei.
Her ability to completely shut off your game was fine since she also shut off hers, without that trade off you just get inherently unfair and unfun gameplay.
Yeah OG D.va was pitiful, but modern D.va needs amputations somewhere in her power budget.

Dva has to take on considerable risk, to not even 100 to 0 anybody, maybe 70 to 0, if that.
Rein has an actual 100 to 0, but that is apparently fine.
Accurate description considering anyone near their healers will survive unless they have 100hp.
Try having good positioning? Try dodging the rockets with mobility?
I never struggle against her on support unless people are just allowing her to do whatever she wants. But that can happen with any tank.
Oh please. 
She is the only hero that I believe to be worse than Reinhardt and you know how I love downplaying my character…

Yes, pin is a 100 to 0, something vaestus is apparently against, but I guess only when it isnt actually a 100 to 0.
Well I think it’s a bit silly to just lump in as some flat category, when there’s clear levels to it.
It’s like saying pin and widow headshots are comparable because they are both 100 to 0’s. One is very clearly far and away better than the other.
I was pointing out an actual 100 to 0, rather than the hyperbolic ramblings incorrectly trying to describe dva diving somebody a 100 to 0.
Unless that 100 is hp rather than % of health, then sure.
Mobility tools, self sustain, knock back on landing (which yes she can’t kill confirm in air unless low, missiles don’t do enough damage by themselves or with boop), on top of what you mention all are pretty good.
Their is a reason why brig is a good counter to her.
Just, trust me on this. Trust me…
You want to keep this version of DVA, because once she got her changes there became a completely dominate comp in the game. Dive. the ONLY answer in the entire game to facing Widowmaker is DVA dive meta.
Monkey + DVA, Tracer + Genji/Mcree/Widow, Lucio + Mercy.
