No they arent near the same rank. What is with you trying to determine where my sr is on different act lol

Edit- sorry if that came off rude, but this acct is just to learn ashe and im still not at where i should be. The placement system and mmr system is really bad. Infact it placed this one in silver, ive been stomping my way back up to where i belong.

Its not fun either its actually frustrating and more time consuming

Because if it is, it might cause an unfair playing advantage for either team, probably the enemy team which would give them reasoning towards reporting outside of your hero choice.

But if you don’t want to talk about it, that’s fine.

I already said the old act was at its proper rank, technically this one is not and thats blizzards fault.

Also according to them smurfing is not a reportable offense and isnt a big issue.

Alot of people dont even choose to smurf on alt accounts. Its all in the cards you are delt for placements.

Yes and no. Yes, that blizzard’s MMR isn’t the best at reallocating your rank to match the current and it doesn’t seem like your intent was to smurf at lower ranks but people don’t know that and assume that you might have been playing on an alt with malicious intent.

I don’t remember Blizzard’s stance alt’s per say but while most of it is not reportable, gameplay sabotage is.

Also placements is kinda a joke. It keeps you near the old one regardless of how well or badly you do.

Anyways, it doesn’t seem like you were purposefully trying to do harm and you just got caught up in the whole is there a smurf on the team, ugh how dare they ruin our games, train thing. Sucks you were lumped into there while just trying to play on your old account. Hope, this helps in trying to make sense as to why the reports were flown your way.

I’ve personally witnessed my own teammate get banned immediately following submitting the report on them, on two separate occasions. That’s not “what I believe in,” it’s pretty indisputable evidence that my report triggered the ban. So you either believe the report was INSTANTLY reviewed, or that it is 100% automated with no review. Take your pick.

Even a MVP has explained that you don’t get banned on the spot, you get punished when your account has received multiple reports. You don’t get punished from one report. So that’s a lie.

It wasn’t one report. It was the one that caused them to reach the threshold for being banned. Say you need to average 3 reports/game for >10 games, and you hit 32 reports in your 11th game. The next person to report you will immediately cause the ban. I was that player 2 times.

I played wrecking ball for placements and didn’t enter voice, and only typed GG at the end of matches. I got a warning. Clearly playing Wrecking Ball is wrong.

Eh it is what it is, honestly im bout done with the game and ready to move on. Im to old to care like alot of the players now days. My time goes to family and work, so the little time i have left over will be going to games that i personally find much more enjoyable.

I recently hit masters on destiny 2 with some friends and were gona go for top 500 next season.

Also just had shoulder rework surgery so going to use a controller and catch up on single player games for a bit lol

They send you canned email response that says the reports have been reviewed and they are upholding the punishment. Often in less than 10 minutes from submitting the ticket.

Glad you have other things that makes you happy. Sorry that this was one of the last things you ran into when it comes to Overwatch for a while though.

I’m telling you the system is broken. I just wanted more people to understand it so they stop assuming everyone banned deserved it (people making up things about OP he never said), and realize just how asinine it is what Blizzard does.
