i got confused on PC gamers article they said Overwatch 1 players get one free premium battlepass ( season 1 or 2 )

but blizzard blog post we only get kiriko and no mention of free battlepass at all

Basically get 2 okayish skins, an icon, and instant access to Kiriko.

that instant access to kiriko what confuse me does that include season 1 battlepass or what ?

The season 1 battlepass is for the watchpoint pack owners.
it is not the same as the OW1 (founders) pack.

Nope, you don’t get the premium season 1 Battle Pass.

But you can do the free season 1 Battle Pass that everybody gets.

There is a founder pack and watchpoint pack.
Founder pack gets you 2 epic skins, icon, access to Kiriko. This is what you get for free when you have OW1 already.
Watchpoint pack is what you could buy with 2 legendary skins, access to the last beta, access to the premium Battle Pass and some of the new currency.

You will be able to access the battle pass regardless, but with the watchpoint pack, you get access to the premium BP for extra rewards
