for quickplay in season 9?
Depends what type of heroes you like. Soldier, tracer, sojourn, genji, hanzo are all great. Widow is pretty crazy too with her hitbox.
Havenāt played the patch yet, but I suspect the outlier is Widow. Still oneshots and has an easier time doing it? X_X
Another x-factor I could see is Soldier. If that 20% healing reduction is nastier than Iām thinking, then that could put him up there. Right now I suspect itās only going to be irritating to the supports & force them to healbot more.
Soldier seems extremely easy to play right now. He was always easy but he feels very powerful now. Low effort playing can get you a decent score, guess theyāre focusing the game on āez modeā to attract more zoomies who cannot aim. They are ādumbing downā the game to make it more playable by the average garbo player/extreme casual it seems.
@ FrostAdept yes, widow is very easy to play now.
Cass also seems very easy. His ult was largely buffed this patch and a 1.5~ second hold can kill the entire team. Patch gets more imbalanced feeling the longer you play.
Tanking is more miserable than previously, which is surprising. There seems to be almost no reason to pick anything other than DPS.

Sojourn, you just afk dps with her. If you start losing itās because of the atrocious matchmaking of qp.
Moria is the best DPS

I cant really do widow ā¦ She would be a throw pick for me.
I do like Sombra, Junkrat and Phara, Although Phara seems to harder this patch too.
Tracer: It might seem odd that Tracer is soo good, but the nature of her spray plays very well with even small hitbox changes. Sheās also one of the few heroes that can reasonably trigger the global healing passive as well as constant application of the DPS passive. Also keep in mind she got a damage buff at the start of last season.
Soldier: Easy pressure from far away. His aiming consistency has skyrocketed, and the DPS passive makes his sustained damage more difficult to outheal.
Pharah: Her rework is very powerful. Once you get past the initial awkwardness her added horizontal mobility and gun buffs start to shine above what other projectile heroes are capable of. Itās going to feel bad, but the payoff is huge.
best time to learn widowmaker is now if you have never played her but yea i suggest swapping if one of the enemy dps goes sombra to counter you. still kind of lopsided but a tad better than last season. last season you could be like 2 ranks ahead of the sombra and she would destroy you but with the 25 health you have another .1 second to react hehe
Soldier and Sojourn.
Both have extremely high damage, can pump out massive burst, and hard to approach and specially dive, and are very self sufficient while requiring little teamwork to do their jobs.
Their skill requirements are low and their payoff massive.
it was 1.5 seconds before the patch too it was just scaled up to match the hp values
Similar to Winston and Moira getting damage buffs to match their TTKās pre-patch

Soldier is #1. Soj/Ashe are both stupidly strong behind him.
speaking of ashe i havnt tried her yetā¦ going to right now. do hear sheās really good and i can see it since 250 health and bigger bullet hitbox
