Where is the lore😂
Not one tease, not one tiny piece of information, I’m back to square one. I guess we might get an animated short in the summer, but at this point, I truly have no clue anymore.
I’m losing my mind, I really thought we would at least get a tiny bit of lore for the anniversary event. Heck I would have been ok with a lore tab being added👍
You don’t have to agree with me, but I know I’m not the only one who is just dying to get some meaningful lore🙏

I want to see more on Zen myself, as well as Mercy and Lucio. And for the love of all that is Holy, I want a short of D.Va fighting that super sea Omnic.

I think they’re too busy with OWL, the anniversary event, and balance things to worry about lore now. But I agree there should be more lore coming out.
We had nothing significant dropped at all since Doomfist, and even with Retribution, the gap in between is pretty significant

Did they do their announcements on OWL? I didn’t bother watching it because meh, but I can barely find anything on the OW subreddit either except Petra and some cake vid… Was that the only stuff they showed??

Thinking about it, they should release mini videos on YouTube that could be from Sombra’s perspective.
She’ll hack into a database which reveals all sorts of hidden lore about the characters and organisations that we currently know of. Like Lúcio, Los Muertos, Katya Volskaya, The Shambali etc.
They could have comic book style artwork, run for around 5 minutes or so and release once a week or even every other week. Would be nice fillers in between animated shorts and actual comics

While I completely agree, I’m dying without new lore, the game is just coming up on two years. They can’t just dump every corner of the lore on us at once, because then that’s all we’ll ever get. We’d starve to death. They’ve got to release information systematically.
It sucks, but as an author, storybuilder, and comic-storyteller myself…I can understand where they’re coming from. The whole story is there, they just have to release it piece by piece.

Oh I totally agree.
It’s just they don’t really release it systematicly, the last bit we got was with retribution. Other then that, that’s all we have gotten all year.
I just wish there was a schedule or something, something so we can look forward to it.

they did say they were considering killing off a hero but not removing them from game, they also wanted to make it clear that they wanted the death to meaningful and dramatic. so maybe they are gonna somehow work up to that.
