i ordered two tacos and two burritos at taco bell recently. nearly $20.
dunno everything sucks value wise these days. i get more lasting enjoyment out of a cool skin in a game i play a lot than i do from a single trip to taco bell.
dollars to hours online gaming is one of the best entertainment values in the world. i played hundreds of games last season, spent hours in customs, and i spent like $40 or something. So well over a hundred social, recreationally productive hours for $40. i could jack my per season OW spending up to $100 a season and still be spending like 50 cents an hour for very involved, high quality entertainment.
on top of that, if i want i don’t have to spend a dime outside of the initial investment in my system, and an internet connection.
They needed the cooperation of BCRF to rerelease it, as it contains the pink ribbon logo. I can’t imagine BCRF wanted anything to do with Blizz in the wake of the… troubles… a few years back, and waited until the fuss died down.
It was $15 in 2018, and it’s $15 now, as is clearly stated in all of the marketing. Rose Gold is $20, and comes with a few sprays as well.
The player milestone is a pretty good marker point if my previous theory is at all accurate. But, your last sentence is possibly more accurate than most people will admit.
I’ve been saying for a while they should do this in general.
Give us epic/legendary redeems in the BP instead of the lackluster selection they usually give out, buuuuut then Blizzard would lose out on a little money.
While I think it’s a great idea they wouldn’t do it because some legendaries cost more than others and some are bought with overwatch 1 coins which would mean less battle pass value which nobody cares about because either way we’re getting free reward but blizzard thinks we do.
