A simple magsize decrease would fix him. Imagine 45>30 or something. Maybe 36.
Besides, there’s no need for him to shoot his primary fire for as long as he currently can. This way he has to reload more frequently while doing damage. You get to shoot 10 bursts of 3 bullets per mag still. But his sustained damage wouldn’t rival Soldier’s anymore.
I would be fine with that.

I think he had an underwhelming release. Under utilised… one trick with his invincibility shield. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was a move made to get people to notice him. Makes sense to me

He’s not doing bastion levels of damage, sure.

Despite what you think of Bap’s current state, once the forums have latched onto hating a support, it’s only a matter of time until the nerfhammer comes down.

They’ll probably either reduce the healing on his nades or increase Soldier’s ammo so he can get that little bit of extra damage before reloading
People scream for healing, yet ask for healer nerfs. They scream for tanks to protect them, yet ask for tank nerfs. And you wonder why DPS queue times are so long? Because why would anyone who isn’t a masochist, play tank or support, lol.
It’s not fair to deal with on paper things like that, especially when the stats don’t back it up.
On paper, Bastion’s damage is busted.
I am a baptiste player. I thought he was fine before he was buffed. Now he might be too powerful…

Probably because they nerfed his ability to heal and fire at the same time. When I tried him early on he could do both at the same time at pretty much the same rate. Then they added a stupid delay.
