Is it just me or since they added the option to change your online/offline status, I’ve been completely unable to play in offline mode. If I change it to offline and I start a game it puts me right back into online. Sometimes a girl just wants to play without the pressure to group up dang
Sorry you are dealing with this issue also. Doesn’t seem like the devs want to address this knowing the player base doesn’t want to be forced online

I have the same problem, and I saw people on reddit do too. It seems they broke something in the last patch. Hopefully if enough people report about it maybe they might fix it. Not expecting a fix though.
Something like this could easily be broken for years before they fix it. Crossing my fingers they fix it on the next patch, or the next next patch.

Bump. Last day of the season and still not a peep from the Devs acknowledging this issue so it’s probably on purpose and not a mistake they just don’t care if people don’t like the change that they forced upon their users without concern or consent

It’s been an ongoing issue since at least November of last year.. I see post after post about it here all the time. They have to be aware of the issue at this point. Drives me insane.

I know nobody has addressed this issue yet but guys! Have you seen the even more important update that they decided to spend their time on instead?!
• Fixed an issue which was causing our lighting to render some heroes brighter than intended.
Sure I can’t stream Overwatch without a bunch of people messaging me or play solos without being bothered…
but at least my characters will be their intended brightness !

Boy, I’d sure love to be able to use this basic functionality that has been a thing for every other game for the last 10 to 15 years! Something something different
Seriously, how do you break something that was working perfectly fine for ALMOST A LITERAL DECADE and then just leave it broken for 8 months? There are at this point I’m guessing 70 threads since November of 2025 and these morons do absolutely nothing. I can’t help that this is my dumb friends’ favorite game because I would have quit already if it were up to me, but I do have to say blizzard is without a doubt the worst development team I have ever had the misfortune of playing a game under. It’s like they are allergic to winning, anytime they do something right they immediately unload a shotgun into both feet.
Dude, this is really simple. There is an issue where the UI you guys randomly implemented for no reason on the console is overriding everything else, and resetting itself no matter what you do as soon as you touch anything in the main menu. The only known work around is to use the battlenet app, set yourself to offline and go find something else to do for 10 minutes, demonstrating that the issue has to do with a faulty connection between the console and battlenet itself. I might not have gotten my degree in software development, but I feel like this is something that any basic amount of effort would fix… crazy idea, just disable the UI on the console. We don’t need it. We can use the app which clearly works. The ugly@ss menu y’all added in February or so does not. This company won’t get another penny of my money until this is fixed, honestly probably even if they do manage to get off their @sses and fix this basic glitch I’ll be keeping my wallet tucked away out of principle. Absolutely ridiculous that this is still not only ongoing but completely unacknowledged.
