  • MLG playlists used to be a thing.

  • MLG local tournaments were abundant (but not current e-sports|corporate level big)

    • Competitive lingo of “I am MLG level good” is basically archaic now

Any forum user can link to a good video/documentary of why MLG fell of the map into an underground zone?

Its still around but, it has the about the same relevancy of ESPN e-sports nowadays.

Activision bought it among other things.

Activision Blizzard purchased MLG a few years ago, presumably to support their own eSports development, such as OWL. Their schedule is now just a list of events for Blizzard’s games and Call of Duty.
