I’ve always hated this map because of the lighting. Everything is dark yellow, like the sun blinding you perfectly through the crack between your curtains in the wall. Truly I used to be one of the King’s Row normies, then eventually I became a Hanamura fanboy, but I’ve come out of the darkness and into the light. There’s no pretending anymore - the best map in the game is Oasis.
There is literally nothing wrong with the map on any of the 3 points. There is a perfect amount of environmental kill tomfoolery. The skybox is fair. The sightlines are fair. The highground is strong but contestable. There’s plenty of natural cover. The flanks are wonderfully designed. The healthpacks are all in reasonable spots. Jump pad.
When Overwatch 2 drops and the maps receive varied lighting and weather, there will be no denying it anymore from the masses. Everyone will convert to Team Oasis or be reduced to atoms.

I not going to say it’s completely bad that map is still better than most KofH individual maps.
Except not really cause city center really sucks
King’s Row is overrated but Oasis is a terrible map
paris…ok maybe not the best…but i do think its one of the best for the simple reason that it does exactly what a map should do:
make you try alternatives because what youre used to doing (status quo) probably wont work…
maps like hlc, busan, havana, and even oasis all do this to a certain degree (havana does it within the same map - which i think is awesome for a non-koth map)
i also think thats a big part of why people hate those maps…people are so entrenched in a playstyle that having to do something else is a “problem” for them
I like the one with the hole in the middle. I play Hog and hook the rein/zarya/sigma in there …I never kill them, I just send them down there . I had a match where i did that 6 times in a row :).

Ew someone likes Oasis? 
Terrible map with way too much clutter. It’s like corner peak central.
Aesthetically, I like Rialto the best. That level to me feels the most like a real living, breathing city from the real world (not to say other maps don’t come close).
But yes Oasis is great too, especially the music.

It’s definitely Paris. Because the more people hate something, the more special it truly is.
Oasis can’t be the best map because it’s designed for KOTH and KOTH is fkn garbage. The only game mode worse than KOTH is 2CP.
