Nvm game still in drought rip
I’m glad someone is paying attention to twitch chat of all things to give us hope
Well usually we would be fine with it if we… you know… had a Blizzcon showing us what’s to come in 2025 like they did last year which is how everyone was focusing on Hazard and researching like crazy what he could look like.
I’m curious what they might come up with because I have to agree I don’t know how you might revolutionize the game to change anything up dramatically.
Spoiler alert : they’ll have a negative feedback when it comes to 6v6 but will announce that 6v6 is going through nonetheless because of the community’s popular demand, so they can blame the community for it anytime the balance updates get more and more catastrophic.
I can see it coming.
The only positive announcement (aka “bomb”) they could make revolves around a real sequel to Overwatch.
Not happening yet.
What about pulling a Riot and announcing a show is in the works. People might not trust them because of PvE stuff so maybe just drop a trailer with release year and platform?
Like, it’s so weird that they ditched PvE to focus on whatever they’re doing but I as a f2p didn’t see a single change at all… except shop skins.
what content lmao? what stupid excuse they will use to not make 6vs6 permanent, im eager
Holy guacamole, I’ve gotten so used to bad capitalistic moves from F2P games that I read “a shop” instead of “a show” … This is how bad it is xD… We have no room for more shops anyway :p… or else might as well turn the entire sub-menu into products advertisement.
As much as a Netflix or Amazon show would sound nice, I don’t believe they have the team for it (they pretty much abandoned everything lore-wise in OW).
Maybe they sold the rights for a show to some TV Series company like HBO but I doubt it would feel anything like the actual game. Weirdly enough, it’s more difficult to adapt compared to The Last of Us or Fallout.
Concerns about content output ?
Like, they gonna answer all those people who played Rivals and accused OW of being 2 years old ?..
When they released Shambali, people blamed them for re-using assets, the team has been hit by layoffs, people are now migrating on Rivals.
And now people are concerned by the lack of content output ?..
Inb4 they won’t reveal anything, just telling they’re trying to do their best.
This is gonna be good!
Cannot wait to hear what they have to say
i was thinking about it and this may be false, since when developers care for the problems the game have and listen our concerns? they would just ignore the lack of content and pretend everything is fine, and honestly, what they can do, pve?
Its more how they gonna do whatever they want to…
To make players come back, they need to hit hard but to hit hard, they need money and time.
But with less players, they have less money and the longer time they’d take, the less players would likely come back ; OW is getting old anyway.
Girl, its going to be a whole bunch of nothing, with some “we’re keeping an eye on x” sprinkled in.
The sad thing is I think all the complaining about 6v6 vs 5v5 will get to them. They might actually think the game will be better if it just goes 6v6. Marvel Rivals isn’t fun because it’s 6v6 lol. It’s fun because the gameplay is solid. If blizzard wants there to be any chance of competing with MR they have to actually address the gameplay issues and problematic heroes people have complained about for YEARS.
Concerns about content output. Lol. Lmao.
They are actively stealing money and can’t put out more content even if they want to.
I believe in the “its too old” argument. How old is TF2? And CS2? They’ve been around a long time!
oooOOOoooo La Laaa!
We might get a Nerf This / D.va Nuke at Mahvel R to win people over and Microsoft might be ramping up. We can only hope but they might make a big move to reclaim their chunk of the market share.
In the last SVB podcast, (Flats, Bogur, Eskay, Necros), Flats literally said he would swap full time if MR releases Creator Codes before OW.
You know, having your currently biggest CC said that, I think that hit the OW team really hard.
I wouldn’t hold my breath. They have a history of over-hyping things that turned out to be so menial.
