For the past few months I haven’t been able to clip/record in Overwatch or Overwatch 2, Instant Replay works fine on the Menus and Hero Gallery, But as soon as I enter a game or the practice range, it turns itself off, Similarly to opening Netflix/Prime Video.
Things I’ve tried:
Making sure any streaming platforms are closed.
Reverting to multiple older Nvidia drivers, Including ones that I am sure worked before.
Reinstalled Overwatch
My friends do not have this issue, and I have tried switching to the same driver that they are on, However no change. This problem only occurs in Overwatch, Instant Replay works on every other app on my PC.
I’ve had so many great moments with friends that I haven’t been able to capture because of this, So I’d really appreciate some help. Thank you!
I’ve had this issue for about a month. I’ve tried uninstalling my GPU driver completely with DDU and everything, literally every suggestion I’ve been able to find and nothing works. It’s definitely something to do with some conflict with DRM, and in my case it might be tied to having a multiple monitor setup…
Funnily enough the issue fixed for me yesterday and everything seemed fine until I played earlier tonight when it stopped working again, which cooooould be related to when I had YT up on my other monitor while playing. But like, when I closed YT/Firefox and restarted my game, Instant Replay still didn’t wanna work. It’s like we get timed out of recording video for an unspecified amount of time for whatever reason.
