Had my first game on new numbani on defense. My team decided to spawn camp. We held them in spawn until 0:45 left on the clock. Way more easy to camp than the old layout.
So what was the point of that change? They said most of the changes were to reduce spawn camping, but that one seems to have done the opposite. It was so easy to camp them.
Update: next game on Havana attack and we got spawn camped the entire game. Didn’t move the cart 10m.

So, you played one game there…and maybe had luck on good team vs bad team…and that is your conclusion for the whole map rework, right?
Right now it’s rookie season for the matchmaker and people have to learn or relearn the maps.

Yep, but I never spawn camped on Numbani before - not right at spawn. And I never got spawn camped for the entire game on Havana before. But now I’ve experienced both on the new map designs.
Sure, small sample, but not a good start.
I got spawncamped on Numbani numerous times in past. You can do that on every map, that leaves you out before the other team, if you have luck and right people.
