First sign was 5v5 with one less tank
Second sign was the recent focus on new DPS heroes which the balance didn’t really need. (Aka Echo and Sojourn)
This is the third sign: turning the struggling Hybrid DPS heroes into OP DPS monsters.
Honestly was hoping for changes that made OW2 more fun for all and this was the reverse.
Afraid what might come next.

What about the supports? What cool s*** is the supports getting? So far we were told that they are getting the least amount of changes, and the changes they did told us about were weakening healing and weakening peel (brig bash).
The trends are pointing to supports receiving the short end of the stick. Only suckers will play them now.
if your a tank thats afraid of DPS you shouldn’t be, the sombra and bastion reworks are going to make your job easier. less time being hacked + less shield damage from bastion

oh wow a tank getting melted, not like that happens in the OG game right now… you just can’t take any clip of a tank dying and expect me to assume that tanking is harder in OW2 because of the reworks
I mean, seeing that a big reason that no one plays tanks (getting exploded) is still present in OW2 doesn’t do too much to inspire confidence that tanking will be any more fun.
The tank died in 1.8 seconds with Sombra supplying 72% of the damage and reaper supplying 28% of the damage in those 1.8 seconds. Rein also lost his shield for 1 second.
OW1 Sombra and another DPS could not melt rein like that with EMP with no damage amplification. The rework absolutely did not make tanking easier.
Honestly, it has been that way for a while. I think the Tank queue times will switch to support queue times and be actually worse.
I can’t see people wanting to support in OW2. I mean, I no longer want to support in OW1, and OW2 looks like a strict downgrade in play.

I agree. Delete tanks and healers and make this game pure dps watch. Its clear they are following the valorant model. They are just drip feeding the info to give the Blizzard D(PS) riders enough time to defend each individual decision.
At least in Valorant, they had a vision of what they wanted the game to be from the get-go. Having knowledge of the map’s layout is actually a viable piece of information.
If anything, OW2 feels more inline with gameplay from XDefiant (at least from current information given).
It’s easy to look at one instance of Rein dying with zero help from his team to EMP & point blank Reaper/Sombra shooting into him.

All Rein needed was some support help and he could have survived, beat, transcendence, nano, immortality field etc.

who told you this lie? if a rein gets hacked in OW1 with a sombra reaper around him he is going to die
Not only that but instead of having his shield back in 1 second he’d be a flailing duck for 5 seconds. Definitely dead.
Can you guys stop panicking? As far as I know we know that changes are comming for ALL HEROES! And what have we seen? about 5 or so? be aware that changes will come to everyone. So you can cry when we have all changes for all heroes until then its all just speculation and nothing more.
I may have to take a break from the forums, as all this outrage & “fear” is pretty cringe if you ask me. Not sure how much more of it I can read. It was funny at first, but with every forum post being Doom & Gloom it’s pretty obnoxious
Dps heroes die in 1s by Hog (hook + shot) or Rein (charge) suplying 100% damage.
Rein died from ult + 2 dps heroes.
And before you start explaining that death from Hog’s hook or Rein’s charge can be prevented, Rein’s death could have been prevented as well.
