Not showing up for Top 500?

This is for Competitive No Limits. On Xbox, I’ve played 50+ games and my rank is above the bottom of the Top 500 (I should actually be in the 30s and there are only like 150 people ranked).

But why am I not coming up on the leaderboard or able to see my specific Top 500 numbered rank in games? Am I missing something?

Did you do the phone# verification thing?

What’s that? I honestly don’t know about this? You have to verify your number? How?

You only have to verify your phone number if you play on PC. To answer your question, win one game and you should be T500. If you’re not, look at the leaderboard and have the friends only filter selected.

I had to do 51 games to get my T500 rank to show in normal competitive. Showed up after the 51st game even though I was high enough after 50 (actually lost the 51st, too, and was worried I might’ve dropped too far, ha).

Ah gotcha. I’ve done 52 games without it showing up. I wonder if draws affect how many games it requires.

Weird. Draws shouldn’t affect it. It’s just number of games played. I don’t know then :man_shrugging:t2:

Gotcha. Maybe it takes a while to update. thx though

The Phone Verification is only required for PC players. However, I always recommend all players regardless of platform or attempting to reach top 500 to enable Phone Verification on their Blizzard account as a general security measure to safeguard your account. You can update it at https://account.blizzard.com/security.

Here are some general rules for qualifying for the top 500.

  • You must play 50 games with the game being canceled for any reason.
  • If you leave any games (resulting in a penalty), they won’t count and may reset your count.
  • You must be Diamond rank or higher to qualify.
  • For consoles, each platform is one general global region. But for PC, the 50 game qualification only works if all 50 games are played in a specific region. Qualification for the leaderboard is considered only for the region with the most games played.

More often than not you just need to play a few more games as the leaderboard is always in flux and may not be accurate to what appears displayed.

prob want to edit to “without”

Wait, if I DCed one game, the count goes back to zero and I have to play 50 more games?
Or just that game doesn’t count?

Thanks for the info btw

If I put in my phone number and link my account would that reset my 50 game count on ps4? Just curious.

Console users are not affected by the Phone Verification rule. It is not required for Top 500.

Ok thank you!

What rank are you? I think you have to be diamond+ to be in t500

Issue solved.

I DCed for one game, which doesn’t count towards the 50 game minimum.

i swear it got changed to 25, but i could be wrong tho? i got on the t500 leader boards on xbox support. i played 25 games with no phone verification and 25 WITH, so in reality i only played 25 games total, but i still got t500 leaderboards

I’d like to open this back up again because now that everyone uses Battle.net I believe that everyone needs the phone verification. My phone has been verified I’ve played 51 games and Iam at 3200 sr but I do not show up on leaderboards for no limits comp

I’ve got the same issue linked my phone number played 52 games at 3500 sr still not showing. I don’t know what the problem is.

Did you link your number to your account after you played 50 games and then play one more?
Because, you need to play 25 games after you link your number to your account.
