Who else can’t see enemies in the first 30 seconds of the match?…..
Every match, or first per game/driver update?
Anyway, try to run 929PJ in custom for like 30s every game launch, may help
you may want to google how to reset shaders data, that’s the only legit fix that helped to me
takes ~15 min to do and then also some time to rebuild that data within the game, then you will be good
But… this shouldn’t even have to be done. At all. This is a game. Are we supposed to take ~15 min or ~ 30 minutes to adjust SETTINGS? On a VIDEO GAME?
it is what it is, you do it or you suffer furtherly
because devs don’t do it instead of you
Sometimes i cant see my own hero when a match starts, usually on backfills.
nvidia shader compiling is a real pain with overwatch for some reason. if this happens often, getting it finished in training or in skirmish before your real game starts will help you.
i got the same issue , can’t see my team ,cant see my sprays on the domina statue on paraiso , can’t see the enemy team .
and then the game crashes and im banned for a full day
If you have issues like those please do add GPU, CPU, RAM (not mattra) and if you play the game from a SSD, NVME or HDD.
If you play from a HDD or from a SSD that has a lot of things running on it, it could be that the drive is too slow (HDD) or just too busy doing other things.
Else do try clearing the shaders so the game has to rebuild them if that is the troublemaker.
I got 16gb vram and 32 gb cpu and ssd and it still happens however only in dx12. Last time I tried running it on dx 12 (last week) it got over a minute without loading people and my gun before I just quit. This was in a custom game b/c was worried to try in a regular. My point being those certainly can be a cause a definite and verified by many people over the last few months has been running it on dx 12. So OP before anything else check this.
Had that problem a couple times after hardware changes and some game updates.
Eventually goes away till the next update but yeah.. playing when unable to see anything, including bullets and skills is no fun. It’s again exceedingly obvious they are not QC-ing anything.
Amd didn’t save shader cache for ow for a long time before. Perhaps drivers aren’t to blame.
Ow’s dx12 implementation is just bad. Really bad
oh ya don’t use DX12 in OW. It is very flawed, bad streaming etc.
Only ever once for me-when I made the mistake of trying DX12.
DON’T use DX12 in it’s current iteration whatever you do. It’s a broken mess.
