I placed in Top 500 last season, I have the badge on my career profile and I was on the leaderboard, but I didn’t receive either the season 35 competitor profile icon, nor the spray, nor the top 500 icon. according to the wiki, I just have to have achieved top 500 at some point during the season to be eligible. Is this not the case?

You had to end top500, if you earned top500 and dropped then you would not get the golden rewards for end of season.
