Throwing it into arcade sabotages queue times. How many people actually look at arcade? 20 minutes waiting for a DPS game? It was 6 minutes last time I checked. This feels like sabotage.

This isnt right. But at least theres no more accidentally queuing into 5v5 with 6v6 in the arcade section.

Yeah, WHY exactly did they move it into the Arcade? If they want us to believe they’re not actively trying to sabotage it, why are they constantly doing things that make it seem like they’re actively trying to sabotage it?

This is an extension. It was supposed to be gone. This is quite literally the opposite of sabotage. Besides, it did extremely well. It is fine. Don’t worry about it.

Personally, I’m just done with 6v6 for a minute. Doesn’t matter which menu it’s in, it needs touched up more. I’m gonna go back to 5v5 where it has priority.

I mean-… The devs took 3y to finally address the idea of 6v6… It’d be surprising if they suddenly made 6v6 accessible the whole season around… idk, maybe I’m just too cynical abt this dev team :c

I mean, it is still accessible, it’s just buried in a menu where few people ever go. People go to the unranked card or the competitive card, and only a small percentage actually care about the arcade. Even fewer actually pay attention to the devs on Twitter or these forums. People are going to see it’s gone from the unranked section and assume it’s gone from everywhere.

The pessimist in me thinks Blizzard is trying to sabotage 6v6, there was NO reason to move 6v6 to the least popular Arcade menu. 
I’m sure the 6v6 player numbers dropped drastically, because they stealth moved 6v6 to Arcade without telling anyone, aside from a random tweet by Aaron, which 99.9% of players won’t see. Even people on this forum thought 6v6 was removed from OW.

There is a reason: They said the playtest would last 3 weeks and those 3 weeks are now over. 6v6 was literally NOT supposed to still be here.
What is it with people and these weird conspiracy theories? I swear, does no one read the dev updates? Like the really big ones in the news section? Again, they SAID there would be 2 6v6 playtests and they would run for 3 weeks each. The mode is no longer in Unranked because it was never supposed to still be there, they ANNOUNCED this. Also it’s not “stealthy” because there is literally a news card INSIDE THE GAME telling you to play 6v6. It’s on the right side of the screen.
They probably included it in Arcade because people liked it and they just wanted to do something nice without changing their plans, and now they’re met with these weird conspiracy theories. Folks… read the news updates before you come to the forums to complain, PLEASE!

So I would have preferred if they left it in unranked also. BUT, I think it is important to realize that it was supposed to leave entirely. They extended it so we could enjoy it longer.
And maybe, just maybe, this is part of their way of teasing out how dedicated 6v6 players actually are. Playing is how you show support for the mode. If you want it to return, I suggest you play your heart out because not playing is going to backfire on you.
It leaves on Jan 21st and for all we know, this could be our last opportunity to ever play it. So enjoy it while it lasts.

It was supposed to be removed entirely Jan. 6th, but because it was so popular they EXTENDED IT, and moved it into arcade, until the open q version of the playtest is put into the unranked menu. They also announced this on Facebook and other platforms DAYS prior. In my opinion, it wasn’t “sneakily” done.

If they were happy with the playtest results they would have left it alone despite anything they said. It is hard to tell if this dev team is just wholly incompetent or dishonest. I would argue both.

Right. just put it back already they’re wasting time. They wasted 4 years already deleting pvp. now they’re just wasting time “testing” 6v6. Just rip the bandaid off and put 6v6 back
