There are so many things to ban that it just isnt feasible to keep this mutant hick hero off the servers.
I do not care what anyone says, this character isnt okay especially in high elo. Just a disgusting high spam zero downtime one shotter, it isnt balanced, it isnt fun.
Why in gods name after all this time are new heroes allowed to be played in ranked on release? For gods sake im 90% sure SMITE of all games has a better grasp on this, and if Hi-Rez is beating you at anything other than a “Being the worst most idiotic company” competition then you need to get your head checked.
Yet another failure release for Blizzard who just like Sojourn has ALL of their eggs in the singular basket of 1 ability that needs to be over tuned in order for them to be playable by pisslo but ruins high elo.
There arent enough bans to deal with this, and I alone cant enforce a permanent Freja ban. This hero just shouldve never been allowed to touch ranked for at least 2 weeks.

I agree with you. I realized it the moment the Season started and I played like 2 games against her. Her right click is outright ridiculous. I try to get her banned but nooo let’s ban Sombra, she is more cancer. People in this game are incredibly stupid. She is cancer in Diamond and I can only imagine how much worse it is in higher ranks.

played in pc lobby…didn’t have fun. flick double explosive shots, literally couldn’t figure out what to do

Yeah its atrocious. Top500 is going to be ruined for supports and DPS until this mutant get addressed or noticed as a problem and sent to the perma ban realm.
Even better yet is shes not even just disgustingly problematic in high elo, shes seemingly piss useless in low elo.
We have a sequel to Sojourn on our hands, where all of their eggs are placed into the basket of a single ability, and there really isnt ANY other realistic way to tune her without making her feel atrocious.
And just like Sojourn shes reportedly pretty piss awful in low elo, so again much like Sojourn, we’re gonna be stuck with Blizzard having to choose whether to make a hero insanely garbage in low elo, or to have them ruin high elo.
I have like 2 hours on her and I’ve been mostly dominating FFA lobbies. Definitely crazy considering how little I tend to hit, just takes a single lucky shot really.

Didn’t they just give her 2 buffs in their emergency patch? That implies she wasn’t doing well. A bit like sojourn I guess - seems to be OP to ppl playing against her but devs don’t see her as OP from the stats.

I mean she is just Soj 2. Looks to be a disgustingly bad kit design with nothing to buff or nerf outside of explosive arrows, just like Soj rail.
Causing the hero to be useless in low elo and abusive in high elo

this hero is just busted, to much dmg with no downside or any cds
No CD’s is part of whats getting me too. Explosive arrows have such a high possible value and she can spam them with almost no gap. Shes not punished for just throwing them randomly in the slightest, never a moment of weakness, or a time where someone would say “Look! Freja used that cooldown! Get her while shes weak!”

In plat maybe, sure. But up where people can aim? Nah, just wrong outright. Shes a Soj 2.0 in this regard.
Obviously its not a true “oneshot” like Widow’s, but youll find very often people just shorthand “oneshot combo” to just “oneshot” because it effectively happens like a oneshot. Case in point being Junks old M1 Mine combo.
Also get over yourself, I articulated my problems just fine and none of it was “wah mean character blew me up, saaaad”, either refute my points or go sit in the corner.

Considering she got buffed yesterday (don’t think it’s live tho) I don’t think she is getting nerfed anytime soon.

OK, but the difference is a oneshot combo bursts you with no ability to react. With Freja, the time it takes for her to shoot twice gives you time to go behind cover if you’re positioning well, like Illari used to before s9.

Yeah just practice in FFA until you get familiar with her rollouts and down sides.
Practicing with her I friggin got one shot by a Reaper. I hit the scope shot but he can wraith and jump on you like that.
You sound like you just need to learn her matchups.
I’m not scared of her weather I am playing DPS,Tank, or Support.
You at least get an indicator warning when you got scoped.
That’s way more generous than corner peaking on Hanzo, Widow, Ashe, or McCree

In effect it is pretty much true though. If a support is looking they can most likely heal in time, but the reality of it is during a match supports cant be fast enough to turn on a dime anytime they hear the stick sound of an explosive arrow.
If you wanna play the semantics game, Ill drop the one shot bit, Im not that attached to it, my point is still that it happens too quickly, ignores the point of season 9 entirely, and really doesnt require a tenth of the skill it should to be a 2 shot, considering double body shots still 2 shot you.
But on the cover point, yes cover is effective, just like it is against all heroes. You cant sit and hide behind the “lol just position better 4head” because while positioning is important, you can use this argument against anything over powered and still be true. That doesnt make something magically not over tuned or even completely busted.
Especially in high elo youll find people are often taking up MANY different angles all at once to attack you, especially on defense. Theres always a point on offense where in order to move up or to a new spot you HAVE to leave cover, or to contest one angle youll be exposing yourself to someone elses angle.
Cover isnt a reasonable excuse.
