Not joining voice chat is soft throwing

I can understand people that can’t or won’t talk in voice chat, but not joining it in competitive game is a huge disadvantage and should be considered as soft throwing, change my mind.

I’ve seen streamers who refuse to join voice chat because people purposely say or do things to try and get them in trouble.

We don’t need to change your mind. Blizzard has stated in the past at the forums that it is not considered throwing. Guess you’ll need to go ahead and change their mind.

Understandable, but still, aside of big streamers who could really have issues, random players have no problem with that.

Soft throwing doesn’t exist. It’s just an excuse so people can point to other players and say “look, they’re why we lost”

That’s another problem, I can live with the fact that people can’t play and listen calls, I have troubles myself. But not trying isn’t a competitive mind

I’ve played plenty of games where nobody talks and it’s fine.
I’ve played games where everyone is supposedly on chat, but nobody listens to my call outs.
It doesn’t matter.

It’s throwing then, not the “I just jump off the map until we lost” throw, but still throw.

Voice chat, for your average player, in solo queue, is more prejudicial than helpful.

When voice chat is used for actual call outs and play making it is great. It is almost never used for that. More often it’s used for “I have gold elims what are DPS doing? X hero isn’t working please swap off” which is not only unhelpful, but is detrimental to winning.

Using voice chat most of the time is soft throwing because people don’t use it for it’s intended purpose.

I consider joining voice chat to be throwing. It’s just a bunch safe spacers crying about the other, it insta tilts everyone and makes you play worse, hence it’s throwing to be in voice chat.
