NOT CONTROVERSIAL: Some abilites that REALLY need to be buffed

OK, so I think we can all agree that there are some abilities that REALLY need to be buffed. This shouldn’t be controversial, so I will go right ahead and list them below…

Lucio’s self heal: Right now, Lucio heals 12 points of health a second. (Mercy heals for 20, but this is interrupted by damage.) Obviously, healing a 12 a second even while taking damage is too low, and so this should be buffed to 30 health a second. (I previously had this as 80, but that might be a bit OP.)

Symmetra’s Energy Ball: Her fully charged ball penetrates through shields, but only does 125 damage. This should be buffed to 200 damage. And it should also bounce off walls so you can hit people around corners.

Symmetra’s Photon Projector: This only has a range of 7 meters! That is way too short. We really need to triple buff that, and extend it out to 21 meters. That’s only fair.

Tracer’s blink: Right now this doesn’t let her blink over Junkrat’s trap or Widowmakers’ mine. We should give it that ability, plus also add a 0.6 second invulnerable phase. That way she can avoid taking any damage from ultimates, etc.

In fact, we could probably just buff all these abilities, and THEN put them into a new hero. So that one hero gets all these buffs at one. That’s a good way to keep things balanced.

  • Moira self heal: 80 health a second, even when taking damage.

  • Moira Biotic Orb: 200 damage. Bounces from walls. Deals damage even without direct hit.

  • Moira’s Biotic Grasp: 21 meters range, auto lock on target.

  • Moira’s Fade: Become invisible, teleport, 0.6 seconds of complete invulnerability.

Also make Zen’s orbs home in towards the heads of Discord targets. And make Discord Orb cause 100% more damage taken instead of the wimpy 30% right now. Lastly I think he should be able to stay transcended all game and use with all his extra hands, giving him 4x attack speed, and be able to throw 4 discords and 4 harmonies.

Does moira need a nerf? Not many heroes counter her and not well. Her only weakness is her cooldowns.

You got killed by a moira and now you’re salty, we get it. 1. Damage her till she uses fade. 2. Burst her down. Dead Moira. GG, besides she has a soft lock on, her orbs does chipping dmg… Just so much wrong here. Also learn to aim.

Which is funny considering that Brigitte is actualy way more dependant on doing damage to heal than the hero that’s supposedly about managing resources to heal.

There’s no such thing as a “better” Moira player. You literally hold down attack and spam your orb when it cools down. That’s it, that’s the same no matter what rank you are. She is, by far, the easiest and most boring hero to play in the game.

Oh, I forgot to add something…

D.Va’s Fusion Cannons: We all know that these don’t need to reload. The downside is that when using them you move slower. Instead, we should have infinite ammo without needing to reload, and also have auto-aim. That seems like a pretty necessary tweak.

  • Moira’s Biotic Grasp: Infinite ammo without needing to reload. No disadvantage or slowed move speed. Has Auto aim. You can literally hold down attack the entire game with no downside.

There is, because if you do that you don’t heal, and again, it is a SOFT lock. Not like Sym at all.

I think Moira could use some tuning, buuuut I’m just not sure she is as crazy as yall say she is.

So if you are using a hero that deals 60 damage per second, and you are fighting Moira, who is healing for 30 damage per second while also damaging you at a constant 50 damage per second… who is going to win?

Any “good” Moira player is going to never lose lock on a target, because even though it’s a “soft lock”, it’s still incredibly easy to keep on target. Especially on PC if you are using a mouse, anyone with decent aim will never lose a lock.

Let’s say you are Soldier, with 200 health. Moira deals 50 damage per second, and will not miss. That means you have to kill her in 2 seconds, or else YOU are going to die. Plus, the whole time she is healing for 60 damage per second. Over the two seconds it takes to kill you, she essentially gains 60 health, making her a 260 health hero that you have to drop as fast as possible, or else you die.

Oh, and she can just blink away behind you to guarantee a second of hits.

I normally destory moira.

Helix rockets at range with burst fire. If she fades I got her to retreat. If she throes an orb I can move left or right and self heal

Lol… Doesn’t that just mean you should attack her with more than 60 dps? What are you? 1v1ing her with a quarter health Winston :blush:

The moira since she is negating the dps while the 60dps hero is not healing himself.

Well Lucio heals at 12 health per second. Moira heals for 30 health per second as long as she is hitting.

That might not be too bad if she didn’t also have auto-aim. Against anyone with even average aim, she will never STOP hitting. It might be a “soft lock”, but it’s far, far too easy to hit with.
