Never really understood the hate it gets. It’s better than most of the other maps of that mode.
But I liked 2CP so…
I like 2CP but I hated it this map for a long time until I got used to, so my hate tuned to dislike.
Probably because of the visuals.
Because it’s newer and people hate having to learn new stuff
Big part of why every new hero is a problem as well
And then of course the lack of understanding also means it’s ”bad” as well

I just find the map boring in the layout. Some spots never get used unless you play Sombra.
It’s the first map that I’d leave always on. I hate that map. Daytime is better than nighttime. But nah it’s by far my least favorite map.
As KotH maps go… yes
I don’t like ice. It’s cold, and hard and wetting, and it takes forever to dry up.
Jokes aside, this map is terrible, it only loses to Ilios. the capture points are too open, while the chokes are tiny.

The maps are really annoying for the heroes I enjoy playing (Doomfist or Lucio for example) because they all have short skyboxes and stupidly jagged edges that make it annoying to do fun mobility.
They should open sublevel, that small choke out of spawn
the other 2 points are solid
people don’t like control maps, they want to afk behind their raidboss tank on payload maps, this community is terrible at the game
After they nerfed the fishing with Bastion the map was done for
I like the map when I’m Reaper. Pick the Shiver skin, put bullet holes in the penguins to get warmed up for a killing spree…what’s not to like
