Hello guys, I’m Jeff from the Overwatch team (just kidding). My friends and I are thinking about something we are going to call “nostalgic week” or somithing like that. I’m gonna explain myself. We think it will be a nice and funny idea if, for one week in a year or in the weeks between a competitive season and the following, a game mode in which all the heroes have their own original characteristics (mercy’s multiple raise ultimate, symmetra’s autolock gun and teleport ultimate, and so on…) can be played. I don’t know if this would be technically possible, but we think it would be very funny for long-time players. Hello everybody and thanks for your attention…Read me Jefffffff!

I think just keep them in their original form too. It’d be cool to see how old mechanics fit with the new roster

That sounds fun… Although it’s hard to remember how Doomfist was in his 1.0 version without the gross amount of bugs he had lol
Exactly! The nostalgic joy of playing the old characteristics of heroes and the curiosity of seeing them against new heroes
This could also see if previous versions of heroes could be more viable as opposed to the current ones. Would make for an interesting experiment.

Yeah I would like to see this. Would have to decided a point in time to go back to though.
Bastion having a barrier? Scatter arrow? Reaper orbs?

Possibly to their older self that was nearer balanced. Like let’s not relive moth meta, go back to mass rez before Invul
It would be funny if they did this and everything fixed itself and was far more balanced than it is now.
