That strange individual who made constant posts for Dva to get a schoolgirl skin and got repeatedly banned for it. Then they… actually made a schoolgirl Dva skin.

Also, the people who tried to argue S3 Dva was balanced. It was like having an Apache helicopter flying towards a guy with a rifle lol. They took that nerf pretty hard (probably bc they had to learn how to play the game after that).

My first post on the Old Forums which got downvoted to hell because I was asking for Noire skin codes. :+1: :rofl:

I deserved every bit of that hate, to be fair.

Also the Mercy “Raid”, which ended up being the Overwatch equivalent to bank robbers attempting to hit the local police station.

  • Those really disgusting troll threads that were completely hijacked for general purpose(= off topic) discussion before disappearing the next day
  • That moment of hope we all had together as the old forum was shut down and replaced. IIRC there was this one sociology paper or something where they were looking at MMO gameplay in the dying moments of a server where people just kinda gathered around a campfire and told stories, and that was the vibe everywhere. Twas nice while it lasted.

I have to concur with the “Back when the Dev’s posted” here was nice. Back when useful information about the game could be found here…

Now it’s basically the last place you look. Twitter or Reddit has more info about the game than it’s official forums.

I mean I argued she was fine, but still wanted the 5 or 10hps buff. It wasn’t necessary so much for her viability, but for her core design (but obviously with that extra 5hps it did/does help viability). Being balanced isn’t a singular state for every hero, numbers have a range where they’re fine.
