Nonexistent Parental Controls preventing joining voice chat

Any time I launch the game I am unable to join team voice chats, and the message says that I cannot join due to parental control settings. I am a 24 year old man, I do not have parental controls on my account, and have never had them enabled. This is seriously disrupting the experience of the game if I can’t join team chats in competitive games.

Happens to me as well. It was fine earlier this week so no clue why it happened just today.

This should be resolved now, please give it a try! Sorry about that.

No it doesnt.
No resolved yet.

Yeah this ain’t resolved. Got the bug half an hour ago, still affecting my account. (Obviously went through all parental settings and made sure nothing was on)

happened to me too and i was worried it was just me! :frowning:

Haven’t been able to use voice chat for like a week keep reading its fixed, can’t even find parental controls in my battle.net app on phone or computer likely bc I’ve never had it.

I had this problem too. That’s what i did:

  • I had the game on
  • I went on the privacy site at ‘account battle net/privacy’ (You need to add dots instead of spaces in this link)
  • Changed “Voice chat” from “Listening & Speaking” to “Off”. This logged me off from the game
  • Restarted the game
  • Again having the game on i changed the same setting back to “Listening & Speaking”
  • Got logged off again
  • Restarted the game and everything went back to normal.
