i havent been playing for a while and just played a bit yesterday and today on xbox x with xbox controller no other peripherals.
i noticed a message saying keyboard and mouse detected and instructions about enabling keyboard in settings if i want to play with keyboard and mouse.
i definitely do not have a keyboard or a mouse. so i assume this is a bug.
i mean its good imo if console players do have this option to enable them and play with kbd mouse players but it would good if the detection worked properly 
i have only xbox and ms xbox branded controller and headphones i wouldn’t have thought that would be hard to check esp since you’re now owned by ms.
(thinking about this a bit more … it also might explain why i always thought the mm was matching me against ximmers (one reason i decided id had enough and stopped playing) if it thought i was playing with kbd and mouse previously
