The only reason people hate Zarya is because Rein is the best tank.

TBH as a support she is the tank I hate most to play against. But I dont think she is broken.

Imo I get way more payoff from her with far less effort then other tanks require.

zarya is easy p much all you have to do is think about your bubbles midfight which usually means just using your bubbles after they’ve used theres lmao and softflanking if the enemy let you
Community thinks zarya is some super high skill hero but her beam is the same as symmetras just longer, she has cc immunity, burst immunity, etc etc etc. Like frankly symmetra is 10x as hard as zarya to minmax but heroes like sym are called cheese while zarya are perfect and deserve to be meta…….
like I genuinely think all of the tanks are far more skilful than zarya except for mb hog but im not sure. Theres so much more to all the others

If you’re playing Moira just remember that Zarya beam is 15m and Moira’s is 20m so you can keep at a distance and still damage her. Of course Zarya can right click but it’s not as intense as her beam.
I hate to agree, but… yeah… it’s Zarya main’s dirty little secret, it’s not obnoxiously skilless, but with Zarya you have so much more leeway to make mistakes, as well as cover up for other people’s mistakes.
also bullying Genji’s with her is downright abusive, glad we aren’t the ones who get the flak for it… unlike some other beam hero…

tbf she is still skillful I don’t look down on zarya players or anything. The ceiling with her decision making is still extremely high and obviously she has some tracking demand. Its just frustrating that her kit is less complex and more forgiving than others that are disrespected lmao 
Zarya damage is busted at times. It’s not really hard to charge energy… like… at all. So you’re basically just a walking 20k damage a game hero.

I love the hero but I don’t think she’s in a good place for a tank as well…
she’s fine at enabling an attack but in the deffensive part of things she’s not that good…
her bubbles are the only kit in the game to deffend against effects and close range so making them offensive for 1 target instead of a deffensive tool to deffend the backliners from divers and the front from stuns just feels like a waist of a concept from me…
She’s pretty obnoxious at times but nowhere near as bad as some other heroes.
She’s fine except for her Self Bubble, she shouldn’t be able to attack you while it’s in use.

Zarya can burn until she gets nerfed like D.Va.
She alongside d.va are the most fun tanks to play imo.
The only reason Zarya is mentioned at all is because Rein is the best tank and Rein/Zarya has been engrained in players brains, it’s very easy to pull off even without comms. Also Zarya is fun.
Meta wise she hasn’t shown much relevancy at all. Pro players get more value out of Rein+ Sigma or Dva.
I dislike Zarya’s ally bubbles because they feel super cheap to play against, and I also dislike her damage because it feels overwhelming at times. Also her ultimate is ez cheezy
Those are just personal problems though and not legitimate reasons for change
