Rage quitter dont cancel match, only afk people will.

Early enough they do.

When we determine someone has quit a competitive match before the first 30 seconds of game time has completed, we note that the match is now invalid and it collapses after 30 seconds.

That means the first 30 seconds after the doors open. Most of the time, a match cancellation is because the player is afk at the start of the match, they get idle-kicked, and the match gets cancelled…

But it is also possible for a player to rage quit, there’s just enough time to get the point and get headshot by Widow and rage quit to trigger match cancellation.
