No UI/HUD bug in *saved* highlights

Before saving the highlight if I watch the highlights that the game automatically saves(each match the game saves the highlight he thinks was the best/potg) there is a crosshair/reticle in the middle and no problem at all. After I save the highlight it just disappears so you can’t really understand how the aim/crosshair positioning looks and it really just ruins the whole highlight. It’s been like it for a few patches and I’ve seen more than one post about it yet nothing is being done. Please if you fix this issue don’t just make it so from now on the saved highlights will have a crosshair/reticle but make it so your previously saved ones have it too otherwise these plays people keep just get thrown away. The highlights that I saved before the patch that ruined it still have the crosshair in them.

Issue persisting for over 2 months; got the sickest plays yet no crosshairs/red skull. Really annoying…

This problem has been persisting for me as well, for over 2 months now. Google “overwatch highlights no hud” and you’ll find tons of similar threads as well - still no official response from Blizzard, which is a bit of a disappointment. If it is intended as a feature, then it’s not a very sensible one. Those HUD elements make the highlights stand out - how much HP I had left, whether or not the kills were headshots, how much ult percentage I have… those are all really important.

Still persisting, see this for example: ally takes something away from those highlights not being able to see the Headshot on the Genji for example, it’s a shame as I’d have recorded them with shadowplay or some such had I known :frowning:

Any chance we get any kind of information on this? It was quite common on the old forums as well having googled it.

Also have been having this problem for a while now. UI displays when watching in the top 5 section but when i save the play there is no UI.

The thing that really bugs me about this is that my old highlights (very old) have the headshot markers, which makes them impressive, while on the other hand my newer and better ones look horrible and had I’d known I would have used Shadowplay.

Can someone from blizzard at the very least acknowledge or say, even if they are not doing it yet, that they are already working on the issue or they are aware of the issue?

The last highlight I have saved where HUD elements displayed correctly is from 1/28/18. All my highlights from this month (March 2018) are missing the HUD.

I’m using the same export settings between the broken and working highlights:

  • 4k resolution
  • x1 Supersampling
  • 60 FPS
  • Ultra quality
  • Auto format (exports to mp4)
  • Hardware encoding enabled
  • Music enabled

Same here. One month and one week with no HUD during my saved Highlights.

it’s still not fixed…
:disappointed:

Just found this post as I googled the issue myself after seeing how bad the saved highlight option is, as there seems to be no solution to the issue I just launched OBS and recorded the highlight myself which is almost perfect bar the highlight itself not having a reticle…
