No separate display/audio language on Steam version

This is a simple issues that bothers me. On battle.net we could go into setting and pick a seprate display and audio language. That way we can hear characters for instance in English and then have menu and subtitles in native or different language.

On steam you can access properities of the game by right clicking it and change game language, but it affects both audio and display language meaning it has to be played fully in one. I don’t understand why this is a thing and it really bothers me, beacause I find it difficult now to navigate through the menu and it wastes my time to actually look carefully at each word rather than just see starting letters and be like, yeah that’s the thing I was looking for. It gets even worse when I planned to modify the setting for characters. I hoped maybe there’s an option in the game itself like most AAA games have, but nope.

Saw this advice on the Steam OW2 discussions, on setting the command line parameter to allow separate audio/text. I presume EnUS would work for American English text.

I found a fix! First select whatever language you want. Right click Overwatch2 in your library, select properties, and under launch options type “–tank_Locale EnGB” without the quotations of course.
