This is continuing to be an issue for me, and the fact that every modern, online-multiplayer, console game has this function but not OW after over two years of existence is crazy.
I have randoms from previous games joining my lobby as well as different groups of friends imposing themselves in my current group.
It gets rather tiresome having to tell people to please leave my group so I don’t have to kick them out.
Please fix this issue. Thank you.
its simple, hide offline, and if randoms join, kick them
That doesn’t sound very simple to me over just having “Private” as a designated feature.
if you friends aren’t getting the hint you dont want ot play with them, they will spam invites, if you hide offline, they wont know if you are even on or not, and for randoms, its a kick button
Then why doesn’t every online multiplayer game just have open lobbies? It’s because it’s convenient to make a party private from within the game client than making yourself offline on the platform itself.
