I would like that and firmly believe people would enjoy it more too…I had competed for world champ and few cevos so i know im solid when it comes to me playing my role when my rando arent…
Thing is…I don’t like being grouped up and i dont like making friends. I prefer keeping to myself.
But I’m burnt out by having to overcompensate for my team against stacks of sweat lords who got an elite comm every other game or so.
This comes up every month or so.
The short answer is - They won’t punish people playing as a team, in a team game.
The longer answer is, they could do it by changing the matchmaker, and make it so there is just a higher likelyhood you play vs solo.
But, that is more work than they want to do with the matchmaker, that thing is… it’s a lot of work to make changes.
I don’t know if it’d be a ton of work as much as it would potentially add to queue times for those in a stack, leading to more dissatisfaction. I’d love to have a solo queue option that would allow me to consciously choose longer wait times in favor of lobbies that have mostly solo players with one duo mixed in.
Meh. The people who cry about groups are the people who always need a scapegoat for a loss. There’s no point in changing things for them; there’s an infinite number of reasons why a loss isn’t their fault. Allowing them to avoid groups won’t solve the problem, it will just shift it to complaints about some new excuse for losing (smurfs, bad MM, etc.).

Solo players are heavily punished. Especially in this stadium mode where a solo player is set up to lose against double stacks.
They should be more considerate toward solo players. Does anyone know if we even have a duo cap ?
Stadium is a dreadful mode where you a solo player is stacked against double duo teams.
It is extremely difficult to win a game when the match making is so vast.

I think it’s more than that. It’s not that it would be hard; it’s that it’s straight not a good idea to split the player base into separate queues for the same mode. It would mean longer queues with worse matchmaking quality for everyone just because some people think they’re losing because of groups on the other team.
The irony of that person typing all that to tell someone else that THEY’RE wasting their time lol.
And their Assumptions are wrong.
I do large scale ai work, and the servers take a long time to run the jobs.
