if your team picks rein on a defence capture point they lose it guaranteed. If they pick orisa they have a significantly better chance of winning it, especially if she is bunkered up with baptise and torb/sym/bastion.
“But that’s okay, since now she is niche pick, yadayada” , no she’s not, a lot of maps has some sort of a first capture point, escort and 2cp.
She is just absolutely broken in the current meta.
She is good on defense as she is supposed to be. Rein is still good on attack and on maps like Kings Row where he is normally great. Imo it has more to do with Rein having way too much counters and relying way too much on teammates than with Orisa being OP.
People keep telling me that when I choose Rein but I don’t see how that’s the case. Rein is still better for countering burst damage. Orisa is better for countering sustained damage. They both have pros and cons.
Honestly… I agree. And I never make claims that people are throwing based on composition. This is the one exception. I have no idea what those people are thinking. If you are playing a tank to fill or to win… You are doing it wrong, fam.
And this is, lady and gentlemen, what we will see all over the forum once 2-2-2 is live. “You picked a WRONG tank, how dare you, it’s throwing, reported!”
Ummm, what? You really think this? There are no heroes that are “broken” rn. Especially since Orisa comps get shut down so easily. The only way I see Orisa being broken is MAYBE plat and below where people can’t tell a Moira from a Roadhog, but other than that idk, anything works if your team has half a brain especially since ult economy can be absolutely devastated by the immobility that is Orisa comps.
Lose guaranteed is a stretch, bunker is good but it wins more because people are terrible at the game than anything else.

I wish i had a team of 5 AI, atleast they dont throw, can aim, and would do what i tell them to

Many people just jump on bandwagons of what is perceived as meta. If you dont play bandwagon you are a thrower.
What it really comes down to is team compositions and people working with it.
