It took most people less than a day to beat all missions on legendary, then play normal for the unlocks and achievements.
It’s deader than dead until they let you invite friends who don’t have it to play with you.

It is paywalled content where they already sampled how bad it was to the community. Nobody is buying this. Of course it is dead. Everyone that got it out of their system day one are probably in the buyer’s remorse stage, I imagine.

I had fun with it for the extra 5 bucks. But with 3 missions plus free one, and 4 difficulties, there are a lot of separate queues. And assuming the op is somewhere in the americas, they are searching at 2-5am or so on a Sunday night. Not exactly a popular time for many people to be awake in general.
I played the free mission on what ever the challenge required and got one bot!
This was the first week.
Of all events this is a big fail when the matchmaker can’t find people or people already moved to other content/games…

They cancelled the “highly replayable” PvE people were actually looking forward to and instead only gave us paywalled Archives missions with basically no replayability and with the same old issues (e.g braindead on-rails AI which does nothing interesting). Pffft, yeah right, the game shall remain uninstalled while I just watch someone else play it for the lore bits. Definitely not gonna pay 15€ for something like this, especially after all the other crap they have pulled. “AcTuALly it’s 5€” someone will blab. No, the only way I can access it is to pay 15€. I give zero ***** about their extra trash.

I don’t understand why blizz didn’t just make an all heroes mode seems a simple step to add some replayability for low effort.

Those mini events have always been boring, adding cutscenes won’t change that.

Only time I’ve seen people get bots is when someone dc’s from the mode.

“Beat all the missions on Legendary…” um ya I do not think you actually kept up with much of anything. Everyone I know beat them on Expert but I think I know one person who has done them on Legendary specifically because Toronto is brutal to the point where even if you have top 500 mechanics it just is not easy.

That same “buyers remorse” I have after buying A games. Bioshock, CoD, DMC, Doom, Fable, FF, GTA, Halo, etc. etc. etc. that are all paywalled content that got bought and played and I am unlikely to replay in the near future. That is to say no buyer’s remorse whatsoever.

who could have seen this coming? i personally want to play it, I have the coins sitting on my account, but I watched the cutscenes on youtube instead. Can’t bring myself to play this game until some serious top down changes are made. Overwatch deserves better than this f2p battlepass garbage.

That are also fully complete and polished games with many hours of gameplay and true passion flowing through most of them.

OW2 PVE is $15 for something we got for free that was so shallow people stopped playing after a couple days.
