If you want to get technical, his name is whatever Blizzard says it is. So it is officially Cassidy. People who say anything to the contrary are plainly wrong. But they are more than welcome to call him whatever name they want.

No one is forcing, yet people ask for banning his old name and report people, who use it in chat. It´s crazy. Today I had someone yelling at our Cassidy player, something like âenjoy playing this character made by sexual predatorâ (it was written in much insulting way, that I can´t write here on forum). It´s just insaneâŚ

I didnât know his name was Jesse, but that name wasnât changed, itâs Mccree that was changed and itâs what everyone called him. Iâve never seen anyone call him Jesse before. But Jesse Mccree sounds better than Jesse Cassidy. Jesse Cassidy sounds like a girl I dated in middle school.
