Nobody likes map pools. i haven’t met one person who likes them. also where is numbani? at least blizzard world and rialto are back but come on… map pools SUCK and make the game REPETITIVE.

keeping them out because they weren’t ready would have been one thing
but removing maps deliberately has to be the stupidest decision I’ve ever seen them make
and that is saying something
it is making the game artificially boring: seeing the Rome map for the 6th time in day is NOT FUN and is artifically limiting the lifespan of the product

if the game had 200 maps it would be fine, but it doesn’t
map variety is more important to the product than hero variety!!!

No please no, please don’t remove Hollywood + Gibraltar. I HATE MAP POOLS, the maps start to feel stale and it is so noticeable compared to OW1.

I can’t believe they’re replacing Gibraltar (a great map) with Rialto (garbage trash). Please just put all the maps in rotation, I miss Numbani.

What is taking them so long with Numbani? Hasn’t been in the whole season.
Also, Watchpoint Gibraltr is one of my favorites. Don’t know why they have to do this garbage. At least rotate out control maps.

Can someone do a comparison. How many maps are in the game with the map pools compared to the release of OW1?
We lost all of the 2cp maps, and then they’ve taken out at least a third of the maps for map pools.

Thinking on it, we lost most of the hybrid maps didnt we? Only kings row was left that I can remember off the top of my head.

the limited map pools are strictly a money making decision. they were not thinking about you.
OW2 on launch had 17 maps in the Season 1 pool.
OW1 had 16.

deleting maps is stupid and if its the case they listen to the playerbase on some of them then its the ol blizzard listening too much to whiners.
paris and lunar colony should have never been abandoned imo. in fact we should have ALL the maps in rotation… wouldnt be so boring then. the new maps are fine but they got stale fast since they are the only ones we play on

I hate Numbani. The longer it stays out of rotation the better the experience. It’s a map that punishes you for not having teammates who can play dive characters. You get a Rein player vs a player who can play Winston on Numbani, you’ve basically already lost the game.
