I always wonder why there is no Dev-Update since october 2018.
I know there is a lot of trouble inside blizzard at the moment. But I think it would help a lot if the playerbase would see that the devs are still there caring about them. I really liked the (monthly?) updates from Jeff about the current status and some thoughts and infos about processes.
Lately there is barely any info about anything from blizzard.
Jeff are you still out there? Are you OK?
We will get one on Tuesday with the Hero 30 reveal.

I know the last two years around end of february they revealed heroes, but is there any prove it will be this year as well?

We had a couple of teasers for the new hero last night, basically confirms new hero announce Tuesday.
Blizzard has already begun teasing the hero, whenever the teasers finish, that’s when we’ll get our dev update
Plus its been the usual amount of time between hero releases, we are definitely if not on tuesday directly on the cusp of a new one.
Well the letter they teased last night could also be a teaser for the archives event.
Why do I have the feeling that dev update will mostly be about the new hero… I really hope they also take more than 30 seconds to talk about 5he current state and plans regarding the game in general
It’s a bit too early for Archives. Archives is usually around April.

I want them to keep doing these but most of the time there is nothing much to say about the new patches that we don’t already know. I wish they make dev video on what is coming next or something.

I honestly just want to hear which heroes are being worked on, like who needs buffs and it doesnt have to be anything specific like Id rather hear, “So we hear you on Sym and yes she needs buffs and we’re working on it, cant give anything specific but we are working on her” rather than one long silence for 3 months.
Devs are busy doing their actual job instead of doing the jobs of the community managers, who I can only hope are allowed to do their actual job now.
