I’m sick of it, I was never a leaver but you have the same mentality as Twitch management and are fine with people who pick healers who just sit there doing nothing whilst the tank moves 5 feet forward to mop up the remaining 2 enemies and dies on the payload.
What is it? You encourage an apathetic playerbase or are they bots?
At what point are you going to take action or are you the same as these catatonic healers and you are just going to sit around until you atrophy and crumble into dust?
Teammates bad! Shocking news you won’t believe. Stay tuned for a further developments, including “why can’t my DPS get kills” and “everyone on my team is a bot.”
… yes I know but at what stage are the devs going to accept that the playerbase is lower than it should be because people who don’t even want to play Overwatch on the MOST BASIC LEVEL are queuing for games?
Payload only heals 10 health per second which mad characters if not all of them do more then minimum the now 40 melee dmg so specifically that’s not gonna out heal that damage if any damage it’s as useful as regeneration which as useful as it still can be that’s outside of fights not during but that’s also not the same as just having supports
Sounds like the team is missing quality players who can carry the rest. I still remember being grouped with a ball main that peaked at top200… she DESTROYED the other team despite all of our side’s high death count.
You wrote your post in a way that is obviously meant to lean people towards your side when you didn’t tell the whole story. Does that make you some how better? (hint - it doesn’t.)
I did communicate. You didn’t like it. Oop! You might call me gasp a troll next!
And how was I hostile?
I haven’t seen anything overly trolly from them on this board.
If the tank gets no heal when he’s doing his job,the morons are the trash healers who are indeed unable to play their role and should play another game.
True if healers don’t heal then it’s basically game over. What I don’t understand is some people think that they are the Sh^t but this game is not all about individual brilliance it’s a team effort so if the team is not on the same page then again it’s game over. A lot of players think quick play is just quick play and yes it is but aren’t we playing the game to win???
The situation comes ridiculous when someone literally say, “it’s qp“ or “it’s a just game“ (when its qp argument not working in comp) and then “just play for fun and enjoy“. So, you are suggesting “enjoy losing” right? I think is a some kind of masochism. Also how I should have a fun If we are losing dying one by one, can’t handle what is “group up“, never using covers, never unpress W and etc? How should I be better when fighting with all enemy crowd?
I will do my best to heal you if you’re a tank or DPS, but I will not risk my own survivability and put myself out of position if you’re rushing off to Narnia to get kills while the rest of the team and the objective are elsewhere.
And if you swap to a hero that is countered by their team, there’s nothing I can do about that. You’re going to get wrecked, and you’re going to deserve it.
In qp? There’s no reason why someone shouldn’t be able to leave. Imo.
It’s just qp, and there will be a backfill. If you’re having a bad game due to a leaver, it’s okay because it’s only qp and there’s nothing on the line, next game will be better!
I should go through around 5-10 loses in a row to finally get a fair game (and after 2 wins again losetricks). Sad reality, so that’s why I hate loses even in qp, after one lose you usally receive more worse teammates or more better enemies, or both. So it almost never one single lose, but lose series
Depending on how long it can take to get a backfill, your team can be at a significant disadvantage because they’re one team member down, and if it happens near the end of a game? Well, at that point, unless you get a backfill in seconds, the game will almost always result in a loss for whichever team had the leaver.
A great example is the game I played earlier today.
Had an average tank that made some bad calls (such as playing D.VA into the enemy Zarya) but despite that we were making solid progress on Route 66. We’d pushed the payload past the first checkpoint and all the way up to the first corner near the garage in the second area. We had 70 seconds left to push it the rest of the way.
The tank bailed because they died (they just didn’t bother moving away from Zarya’s beam, and I can’t heal stupid like that), and it took a good 30 seconds or so for a backfill to join. They picked their hero and rushed to get to the payload, but the game was already in overtime with the enemy team having killed almost everyone else, so the tank died, and the game ended.
Had the original tank not bailed, we could have maybe pushed through overtime to get the payload to the second checkpoint. Maybe. But they did bail, so the game was effectively lost at that point.
