Does anyone see that the team without the brig loses automatically? She’s like a must pick now, need to nerf her
Brigitte’s usually only strong when dive is strong because that’s the easiest place for her to exist.
Dive heroes are characterized by short range which she too is short range, so she excels when enemies come to her rather than her going to them. Since dive heroes are squishy, her burst combo is of value, and she’s useful in supporting dive teams within 25m due to repair pack. They don’t require as much resource hogging as a brawl or poke tank. Which is often enough for a single DPS to stay alive or get work down. She doesn’t do much for supporting your tank, but that’s what the other support is for and Brig to help keep alive too.
She’s strong in her niche, and weak in her none niches.

I really don’t think she’s that good, but I play her a lot with a middling win rate this season.

Yeah, she’s very good right now. You really need her peel and easy instant healing with all this dive running around. I’ve been loving it since I love playing Brig though.
Hahaha, no. Nerf dive from being so overpowered and you’ll see other supports take her place again.

Brig is pretty good this season. She’s just a good support vs dva. When they nerf dva you’ll probably see brig played less.

Wrong, she’s strong in non-dive compositions as well. The only reason bap kiri are picked is due to immortality being unimaginable broken and unreasonable to still be in the game
I only see a Brig in like 1 out of 20 games. If she is on the enemy team she just gets picked off quick and dies.

She’s not BAD, but I’d so much rather Ana, Bap, Kiri, Juno, Lucio, or Moira. Brig isn’t really that good this season. Just meh
Nah, she’s good. She is THE support answer to dive and we are in a heavy dive meta. This is the time to be playing her. Check the top 500 leaderboards. She’s not broken, but she is good.

She can handle dive DPS, but with the boop resist she doesn’t fare well against the two main dive tanks this season.

See the problem with that is yes you will see less brig because the meta doesn’t support it but when you’re playing some off meta dive, ana brig feels awful to play against if you’re not playing one of the two overly busted dive tanks.
Hell you can see it now by playing one of the non meta dive heroes. Trying to play doom against brig ana, and god forbid if they have a cass is just brainless.
Actually, I usually see the opposite. Brigitte is surprisingly fragile in a dive meta. Unless she has ult, she’s an easy kill for a dive tank and flankers.

I mean, I’m in T500. I’m not seeing her that much. When I do see her she just kinda crumbles. And like…I’m a Tracer main. By all rights I should see her MORE lol

Brigitte can secure value in non-ideal team comps which is most of ladder play. There are many times a singular dive tank or DPS running around giving Brigitte easy value.
Dive heroes are excessively popular among DPS players, so I’ve made a living pretty much keeping her as a back pocket pick had enormous success with it. However, she is very crappy into spam teams. Generally, when a Mauga, JQ, or Ramattra are involved. She’s better with a Rein in play or Roadhog. A type of tank that wants to get into her whipshot range and can’t cut her defenses too easily. She can whipshot + 180 most tanks and get value.
In the end, enve among top players its rare to see Brigitte played excessively due to her range limitation. She cannot function in a high poke meta.

She fares a hell of a lot better than any other support, not to mention even with boop resist she her boop still cancels all momentum on Winston jump.
