I played the game because it used to be fun. The loot boxes were just a bonus. I only play OW for competitive.

If your goal is to get skins, as you suggested, getting them by grinding in game as opposed to just buying with money is extremely inefficient. I can further clarify if that’s still confusing.

My goal isn’t to get skins. However I still obtained every skin I wanted just by playing the game the way I wanted to play at my own pace without putting in my credit card info or grinding out tasks I don’t want to do.

I can clarify again for you. You’re trolling on a throwaway alt account, and when doing that, you say “it only takes 4 comp matches to get a loot box” I’m telling you why that’s a silly way to think, if your goal is to get loot boxes.

I never really payed too much attention to the skins yet in all my years of playing i got them all thru free lootbox after playing,never bought lootbox ever.
I guess its hard for some people to grasp this or Maybe secretly they are regretting/jealous that some people who played this game for fun has the same skins as the people who pumped too much money on the lootboxes.

Exactly. This game used to be addictive and I could lose track of time during a session and then notice that I have like 4 or 5 new loot boxes to open.
It’s weird that some people seem so hellbent on not playing a game but still want to throw money at skins for a game they don’t play.

To me, this was the worst part of the WP pack. Selling people battle passes without them knowing what is in it or what hoops need to be jumped through to get what is in it.
If the battle passes are good, the WP pack seems to be a decent deal, but we aren’t given the information to make that decision.
Ngl, I got it for those two awesome looking skins. Beta access was just the cherry on top.
