I know there’s no Blizzcon this year but with just one month of the year left its disappointing we don’t have any idea what content we’re getting in 2025, especially as other games are revealing their roadmaps
No hero teasers? Map teasers? New mode announcement? New weapon skin colors? Reworks? 
It’s because Roadhog hogged the road.
I imagine all of their focus is on S14 and S14 alone right now.
New hero + the 6v6 tests that may just break the game.
We dont get hero teasers until the week leading up to a new hero is announced
Dont think people really care about maps tbh. Theres already too much filler in the map pool people would rather just skip over
Its saying something when people literally want to be able to pick what maps they can play. Kind of implies theres already too many
We dont want any new modes. We need LESS modes. Remove clash. Remove flashpoint. Focus on what works
Jade weapons were dead on arrival. No one cares about a recolour. We want actual new weapon skins not just a new colour

I would rather they remove Escort before Flashpoint. If you notice when people complain about the maps they hate most over half of them are escort maps. Havana, Circuit Royale, Dorado, and even Junkertown. I would also point out that Shambali is quietly a map people seem to dislike but considering the above maps it slides under the radar. Basically if there are 8 maps for a mode and 5 of them are bad (and many of them were bad in OW1) then I could do without the mode if most of the time the map is terrible.
Venture and juno were literally announced months before release…
Juno and Venture were announced together with Hazard hinted at during Blizzcon though, and the roadmap released in S4 announced that S6’s hero would be a support (Illari) and that S7 and beyond the next hero would be a tank (Mauga).
As of right now we have zero clue as to what’s after Hazard, like at all, not even just talking heroes. Everything is focused on S14.
I heard the new game mode is the PVE they promised…oh wait.

Escort and Hybrid don’t agree with 5v5 simply because of the pacing change.
People will brag about a “certain hero” (scapegoat) but that’s not the real problem, yet the slow payload that creates too much “dead time” in between fights, and forcing one or more teammates to afk on it (while the rest of them can re-position).
I’m not for removing Escort or Hybrid, 'cause it’s never a good idea to get rid of precious content, yet reworking the payload system so it fits “modern gameplay” more.

Shop skins teasers? New collab teasers? New currency? New monetizations? Shop reworks?
If they add pank weapons… I would definitely care. I would actually go back to competitive and abandon my quickplay warrior ways that I recently adapted (this season). But only if it is pretty.

Season 14 is themed “Large robot rebellion that is led by an omnic with a staff and buff arm transformation” the Mythic skin is for Juno and the battle pass skins are for Reaper,Kiriko,Juno, Mercy and Rein
Dorado and to a lesser extent Shambali are not because of Widow. Honestly though even without Widow maps those maps, and the two I listed, are just not fun.
Its actually staggering when you compare it to Hybrid. Hybrid has 7 maps and only Numbani is disliked. Of the other 6, 2 are beloved and the other 4 are good maps. Its just weird how though the modes are so similar, the Hybrid maps are generally just so much better and by extension the mode is way more fun to play.
Reinhardt definitely deserves a mythic before Rammegatron. I support this even if I will never wear that lame theme.
Agree with everything besides this comment here. We will get new weapon skins in the first season of the new year and all current comp points get converted to only be able to get golden weapons. Jade will change to something else. Maybe Ruby or Saphire. Who knows, but I think something like red would go hard on many heroes.

Both escort and hybrid needs to go. They don’t really work in 5v5. They were designed with 6v6 attack/defense logic. Even kings row bad in 5v5 which was the best map of ow.
roadmap of what, $20 skins? when was the last roadmap relased anyway? i think was season 3 when they promised pve again, after that they went silent about future content until blizzcon which they show nothing worth a blizzcon, or even a roadmap, they announced 3 new characters at once because they have no actual content to show, they killed any hype in 2024, the only surprises were overwatch 1 lol, and scraps of pve, hazard is the last thing announced at that blizzcon (i know wasnt announced but we know they had a tank in the works) what future the game have from now? nostalgia with more ow classic events and 6vs6 coming back
