Night version of all maps

I’ve said it before, but want to say it again: Can there be an option to set time of day in custom games, or maybe even be pre-set for QP/Comp? It gets boring to be in the same sunny Temple of Anubis. It should be at night sometimes. I like the Necropolis map since it’s at night, and I liked Halloween Eichenwalde. It’d be a shame if a day/night option weren’t added, atleast for custom games.

Yes please, and add a weather system.

Playing Dorado in the morning, or kings row while it’s raining would be epic😁

I’d love this. It’ll make the maps feel more fresh. Day time King’s Row too.

I always wondered why King’s Row wasn’t raining…I heard London was a very rainy place. And climate hasn’t seem to have changed. :ru: (Volskaya Industries) is still snowy, :australia: (Junkertown) is still warm and sunny, :egypt: (Temple of Anubis) is still sunny and warm too, and :mexico: (Dorado) is still calm and most likely warm.

Personally, I want the option to have the lighting from the CTF version of Ilios for the main version of Ilios.

The lighting on Ilios is super bright and harsh, and the dusk lighting on the map’s CTF version is nice and warm.

I agree. I do turn up my brightness since it’s too dark on some maps like Kings Row, but on Ilios I can barely play correctly.

and have a new moon version of the maps where it is pitch black and you have to stumble around

The lighting in Ilios is one reason I hate that map. I dislike control maps in general, but I really really dislike Ilios because of how bright it is.

How about all maps just cycle through day/night while being used?

i like the idea.
it would be great to have rainy and stormy version of maps as well.
Maps with different weather would may lead to different meta on the same map… for example, stormy weather may not be good for WM long distance sniping…

Imagine pressing a button that immediately switches time from day to night or night to day. Spamming that would cause some issues…but would be funny.

Or maybe day/night maps set in the time of day it is in the region of the server. So at night time the maps are at night, daytime they’re at day.
